Stefan and Elena were the anchor of the series as the main love story seemed to revolve around them since they were kindred spirits. I find that the writers have very badly managed the plots and the relationships between the characters, especially that of Stefan and Elena. Julie Plec ruined Stefan and Elena's relationship by driving them away from each other and making Damon closer to Elena and Stefan closer to Caroline. In this case, what was the point of talking to us about soul mates if in the end none of them ended up with their twin flame, it's a waste. Stefan and Elena largely deserved their happy ending and they would have accomplished wonderful things together by being human again.
For many vampire diaries fans Caroline and Stefan were better off as friends. Caroline and Stefan weren't supposed to be together since the vampire director had planned to reunite Stefan and Elena, but Nina Dobrev's departure changed everything.
Yeah never liked this pairing. Not convincing at all. The acting chemistry is not there. I can clearly see it was just acting. Also, really the writers hooked her up with E after she had a baby with his brother. Yuck. H was better off with the other wolf actor she got married too. However, I did love TO series just feel a lot of the storyline made no sense or lacked phenomenal strong storyline fo the characters. Also, wish they focused more on Kol and Davina story a bit more. Now there acting chemistry was the best on this show. Very convincing. In the end, TO was a great series, just saying it could have been a lot better but, that’s the fault of the creators not the actors. 🎥👍🏼☮️
We atleast deserved a proper goodbye from them like caroline going into stefans head and they both having a emo conversation and a beautiful kiss and promise each other to love forever and find each other again after death
I hate the ending they gave the originals, all because they gave the VD the afterlife ending they didn't want to do the same for the TO, but that was bullshit, VD didn't need the afterlife we all knew their stories and where they ended up, TO needed the afterlife story, with E&H and K&C ... was soooo pissed when I watched the ending

Agreed, Me neither. She had his brother baby then she sleeps with him. Gross. Their acting chemistry was not convincing at all. I hurt to see them together. saw the fake ness in their acting with each other. Klaus never loved her. She was a one night stand. When she married that other wolf actor then her acting chemistry was a bit more convincing. The writers weren’t too creative with the H character. ☮️
