My oldest was a difficult baby and toddler. I wasn't about to let someone else enjoy her as she became fun to spend time after I had invested all those hard years on her! ....and also my husband talked me into homeschooling. Best decision ever.
I'm so happy for you and happy to hear that! Homeschooling is not always easy and it has its moments but goodness the good outweighs the bad. I wouldn't trade anything with being home with my babies every day watching them learn and grow!❤
I am looking to homeschool my children because I feel sad everyday dropping them to school and leaving them behind closed doors and I always wish if I have eyes in there to see what's going on with them, I always think about them plus the school for them it's like prison ,they are happy at home they always come and say I love you mummy they give me hug when they need love and attention , they eat whenever they feel hungry ,also when they hear they have holiday coming they feel so happy so I am thinking if the system in school is nice they wouldn't be
Go for it!!! It will be the best decision you will ever make for your children! Start small and gentle. Get your feet wet. The more you dive in the more you'll love it. It truly is beneficial for your children! It is so beautiful watching them grow and learn and knowing you had a small part in that!❤
You can start by researching Curriculum calendar for their grade level, it makes it a lot easier. Also, you probably have to write a letter to the Dept. of Education letting them know you will be doing homeschooling with your children. This is important because you don't want ACS at your doorstep.
I can highly recommend the Leap Frog Letter Factory video. 😊 My 2 year old son has learned to recognize the capital letters and now knows quite a few of the letter sounds from this video. An inexpensive preschool/get ready for Kindergarten workbook from Walmart or Target can give you a basis for knowing what sorts of things to work on. We plan on using the Good and the Beautiful preschool later. There are so many amazing curriculums and resources for homeschooling, plus many states offer free online school where the parent is still helping the child work through the material at home. There are almost too many resources to choose from! If you feel pulled to homeschool, you should try. The public school will still be there if you need them later. 😀
You've got this!! Just start! They're little and still babies so just focus on play and reading books right now. I promise you they learn so much more from play, creativity and imagination than you and I think. No need for formal curriculum until 1st grade. You got this and enjoy it!
@@rowlandthrulife2628 yes I hope they do too all the public schools do is ruin your self esteem. I do Acellus Academy if you want to look into that when they get into middle and high school because they can work at their own pace and be independent. It cost 249 a month but you can get a reduced tuition of 79 a month. Also I’m working on joining the army after I finish this year and you can do that with this school it’s also accredited; And they can walk the line if their interested.
@@darthvader87164 tell her to look into ESA scholarships in your state. The ESA pays for school supplies and been a tutor if you need one. These states currently offer ESAs Arizona, Arkansas,Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Mississippi, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, West Virginia
Awww thanks so much for the encouragement and for taking time to stop by and comment!!❤ I truly love being with my girls every day all day. It's so rewarding watching them grow and learn!!❤
Thank you for saying that my mil thinks I’m being selfish for wanting to Homeschool my Boys that school is important for their education and they need to be around kids their age I told her I’d be teaching them so Obviously they’ll have a education
@@miadeeann4966 don't let anyone make you feel guilty for your decision. You know what's best for you and your family. It's happening just very slowly but the stigma of homeschool is slowly dying with its increasing popularity. If you do it right then your kids will be ahead academically and able to socialize since most ppl think homeschooling means you keep your kids locked up in the house away from the public🤪🤣🤣 our school system has failed our kids. As parents we need to do what's best for our kids. You're going to do a great job. Let your MIL talk but she'll see the fruits of your labor! You got this!
