We had to do a repair like this, the door hooks, worn down inside where the hooks touch the sensor switch. Our repair man put in a new door kit. Included the switch panel behind the controls, the door hooks, the door spring. All working like new. The door kit was about $98, the labor was $50, the service call $40.

If you ever find out what that fuse is for please update us. I have a 2016 WRX, and I've checked that very same panel, and I do not have any of those bottom 4 fuses installed. I do have the top 4 in that panel. Would you mind checking the top fuses to see if the issue also persists? My yellow top lasted 3 years before crapping out due to battery drain. Anyway thank you for your findings.

Ok I was at the dealership have them look into it as well they said it is DCM module they will replace it. They took out fuse in engine compartment 20 amp found next to inj relay. It's one of those closed ones you can't test. Hope this helps. On side note in my case if I remove that 7.5 or this 20 amp it does same thing. Also you will lose Bluetooth mic and front speakers when this fuse is out but you battery won't drain

I just installed one today and same thing is happening to me too, every time I turn on the heat a/c will kick on. My wiring is Green-G White-W Red-R And Blue -Y. So shoud I move the blue wire from Y to C? Thanks.
@dinomusi1982
@dinomusi1982 Год назад
Ok so you will need to reset things basically uninstill everything and start from beginning. When it prompts you to put wires in certain slots make sure you select common wire instead OB. If youst swap wires but do not do a set up I will not work. Also I tried everything to make changes and could not do it so you have to start process from beginning I order for this to work. Let me know if you have any other questions. Do not select heat pump in the beginning when you start process also.

Thank you so much for reply, I am not sure what do you mean by common wire what color would that be? The wires I have are Green White Red Blue. Once again please help me with it is a very nice thermostat , the flaw has to be wiring. Also I did not select heat pump in set up , I think it was gas heat or something. Also this is what I have on my settting in Google Home app Heat pump orientation: O
Heat source: Gas
Aux. heat source: Electric

Why changing oil at such low Kilometers?? Is it required by Toyota?
@dinomusi1982
@dinomusi1982 2 года назад
No they require oil change every 10k miles but toyota started having issues since than. Some of the toyota mechanic recommend changing it first time around 1000 miles to clear up possible contaminants that could be floating in oil after that 5-7000 miles

Ok....to add a comment I have replaced tensioner pulley and no change in the sound, replaced ideler pulley no change again, finally replaced alternator and noise was gone.......got one 150 at advancedauto 160 with 25% off if you pay online with coupon and when I returned a core 2000 miles later all good. To replace alternator take off upper radiator hose, fans and loosen upper radiator support that will give you enough clearance to take alternator out. PS cover radiator with something [cardboard] so you dont damage it.
