I am Torben "Viper" Wahl, a Gamer that made his hobby into his job a while ago by being a successful Hearthstone Pro-Player reaching the World Championship Finals. Now I am onto new Endeavors looking for new Challenges that are to come in Illuvium. I want to use this channel to share my Path in Illuvium and educate everyone along the way.
Why not just have one tournament where the illuviuals you have caught as NFTs are maxed stats and a different tournament where the stats of your illuviual nfts are exactly the stats of that specific illuviual nft you have. Then after that, you can gather data to see which of the two different tournaments the public gravitates to the most and adjust the rewards. accordingly just a thought 🤷♂️
I mean sure, I think it is a very obvious answer and it will look horribly pr wise. One of these things were majority of people will say it will turn out bad and then it will.
Yeah restrictions is the big thing. I think U can have a combination of mastery points and max mastery every turn. But character movement needs to have some sort of restriction. It will make the game more accessible too
Great stuff. I am not sure we can get rid of rogue/assassins. I say this because of ownership and deleting the use case for owning them might be a bit hard to accept. Maybe modify them to be front line glass cannons? Psions are back line, rogues front line.
I don´t think anything I have said here, is new, these are points I have been making since Arena Beta was playable. Most of this though is changing a lot and I think there wasn´t time to test it or make it especially given Gauntlet was made. I think now that the games are live it is time to polish the PvP Modes, that´s why I put it into one video. Being on Council isn´t being on the Team or Game Design as well.
So if i have 1 illuvial missing to complete a milestone, can i complete that milestone if i purchase it on the marketplace, or do i have to be the one that caught it?
Glad your issue was able to get resolved. Since the last patch I’ve actually spent less time trying to snipe the marketplace. A subtle difference for a budget gamer like myself is that with the new drop rates, I’ve needed higher level shards which has eaten into my market sniping funds. Most of my runs are T1 for stats with intention to fuse
Another great video. Still trying to figure out pricing for good stats. Example, I caught a Fludd with max stats for health, resistance, speed, and omega. How would you price something like that..? Maybe its too early to know.. 🤷
Youre easily the most technical illuvium content creator. But i do feel there are several years to go on building illuvium before the gameplay experience is ready for getting a large audience. I hope they can walk this narrow line. Biggest enemies are accessibility including pricing, gameplay and content lacking far more than i think they realize, and its p2w nature.
I don't understand how the stats carryover when fusing. I fused 3 flares that hit the max on all points and I got a seer with a tiny bubble of stats in the middle
Hey Viper, what's the damage reduction calculation given by resistances? I thought that 100 resistance would mean something like -50% and 200 would mean -75% but according to what you say it sounds like it would rather be -66.66%
@@viper_ilv So +50% resistance would give more effective HP than +50% HP if base resistances were superior to 100 I don't think that any illuvial has that though, interesting thanks
🦊 MY suggestion to the IP would be: To have the IP manage a Liquidity Pool of Fuel like any other Automated Market Maker, and just do 7 unique things that have value in the pool, $ETH, $IMX, $sILV2, $ILV, x3 FUELS [Crypton ~ Hyperion ~ Solon] (Governed By the decisions of the DAO, of course....) Or Make it simplified & Just use [Crypton ~ Hyperion ~ Solon] + $ETH making an IP managed AMM that is transparent and has a live time market book and graph 📊 and totals and various other metrics verified & always showing. What you think?
Main downside to having them be erc20s would be chance of exploits and fuel being non tradeable can be usefull as well, the tradeable option of crates can exist anyways. Also people trading fuel for non gameplay and just speculation might not be optimal. upsides and downsides to both in the end
You can hover your mouse over the classes and read them, bulwarks e.g. give resistance bonuses, fighters give atk-speed. If you want to know more details, check out my videos about Overworld Combat and positioning.
