For this channel. I make travel videos showing places around Boston and other areas in Massachusetts. Once in a while if I end up traveling to places outside my home state, I would make travel videos wherever I end up in. I hope you enjoy them.
Enjoyed watching this and thanks for posting. Before mobility issues entered the fray, I'd walk the Corridor from Forest Hills to Back Bay station at least twice a week, time, schedule and weather permitting, so this evokes a lot of pleasant memories. At risk of revealing myself as a You Tube pedant, though, let me be the first (of, no doubt many, given the nature of the Net) that Forest Hills and Stony Brook are nowhere near 4k apart, but more like 2.5. k. Which is, of course, why you can (and I could) make the distance in around a half-hour. Sorry our paths never crossed along the way.
If you were living in 1954, you may have seen me running thru CENTRAL Square at 3:o'clock in the morning, 3 nights a week.I'd be coming from my girlfriends house off of MAGAZINE ST. near the CHARLES river. Only once did a COP stop me and that was in INMAN SQUARE while running thru. Those were the good old days.
I've walked that route many many times growing up in the Cambridge area, in fact I've probably walked more than half the streets in Cambridge in the 1940's and 1950's.......In our early teens ( 13 ) We would swim in the Charles River, not just Magazine beach or .Jerry's Pit, but the whole river until the M.D. C. police caught us swimming near the boat house wearing W. W. 2 Life - vests that we found in a junk yard in Union Square Somerville...Needless to say, they told us if we came back to the river they would arrest us. I have so many memories in my now 90 YEARS and they will be lost like me....Enjoy life everyone, it only happens once....
That painting of the black man ( M.L.K. ? ) at the corner of Dinkenson and Beacon st. shows how much the area has changed since I last lived there in 1966.....I was born a few streets away in 1935 and that 1st. Floor covered by that painting was a tailor shop and later a BARBER shop....The owner kicked out the barber and he turned that small garage next door into his 2 chair barber shop.....His name was JOE and the nicest guy you would ever want to meet.....I would never want go back to my old neighborhood now that I've seen the changes......Not much crime in that neighborhood in the 40's and 50's....... I'm knocking on the door of 90 years old...
Hi, how are you? I was wondering are any of your family or friends cosplayed as My Little Pony characters from My Little Pony? Because I'm planning to do My Little Pony Cosplay Photoshoot Gathering at Anime Boston 2025 at Boston, Massachusetts, United States at the John B. Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center on the 3rd Floor near Room 313 on Sunday, May 25th, 2025.

Ah.. the North End! It would be great to see a late evening to night video of my old neighborhood. Night strolling videos seem to garner a lot more views too.
Nice! I remember when this park first opened as mitigation for the Big Dig project.. started using it to walk from my place in the North End to my office in Lechmere.. great memories!
