ahh so relaxing seeing trash get burned i dk why. dam that has got to be one of the cleanest boilers ive evor seen. as a boilermaker i can appreciate a clean facility!
I wish America would do this but the eco terrorists won't let us. Instead they would rather create larges amounts of CO2 attempting to recycle materials that are usually thrown away in the end and tons of methane CH4 that comes from decomposing crap in the dump. So much hazardous material that could be sent to a incinerator rather than a dump.
Thank you for this beautiful presentation. I would like to use some of your footage for my documentary, how to save forests. With your permission of corse. And all the credits will go to you as well. Is that ok?
i dont mean to be so offtopic but does anyone know a way to log back into an instagram account..? I was stupid forgot the login password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me
@Kason Trevor Thanks for your reply. I found the site through google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
NOT awesome there is no way to remove the crap from burning trash these greed heads have been touting this junk project for 20 years and have been continually shot down by real science .dont think a christian radio network is really a likely source for our save the world news ,USE LESS ENERGY is the answer they are wanting to avoid . compress your recycling !!!how many people even THINK of that? if all recycling was compressed ,five less trucks per town per day would have to run .so simple and I cant think of ANYONE (besides myself)who bothers.and REALLY separate ALL toxics form your land fill trash ,how many small devices have you discarded with the batteries still in,do your sweep up "squiggle"fluorescent bulbs and just chuck them in the trash? ($20,000 fine with possible jail time) etc etc
No, this is not the answer. The answer is to produce less waste and to recycle much more. This is incineration which produces massive atmospheric pollution and CO2. We need to start taking the greenhouse effect seriously. We need to improve the quality of the air we breath, and our children and unborn children breath via their mothers. There are many better ways to produce electricity.
Hi Why do you think this is not a solution? I mean the best disposal for waste is to reuse or recycle it and not burn it. But compared to a landfill this waste to energy plant reduces greenhouse gases. Did you know that methan which is relised by landfill is more than 20 times worse for the environnement than CO2? By the way this plant is being upgraded with a pilot project of carbon capturing. In my opinion this waste to energy plants are part of the solution for the worlds garbage problems. Looking forward to your answer. Have a nice day

As much as I like the idea of less trash in the world, I fear that this type of technology will not lessen our wasteful habits giving us no reason to produce less garbage. It's a good middle ground solution but long term solutions need to be the banning of single use items. Instead of using 300 single use Starbucks cups per year times millions of people, there needs to be a "Bring your own mug," type policy. This could be implemented to thousands of very wasteful businesses. The grocery store in the future will be centered around a zero waste concept in where you bring your own containers to fill up on the foods you need. The sky's the limit on this concept and the only thing standing in it's way is limited thinking. Reusable bottles for drinks, reusable jars, reusable to go containers, etc. We could eliminate 80% of all waste by adopting a new and better system. All compostable material will stay local and be utilized for backyard gardens and/or local agricultural production. Styrofoam would be banned worldwide as well as plastic bags. A couple reusable shopping bags for everyone and we instantly eliminate 500 billion to 1 TRILLION plastic bags every year from this planet!
Stop penalising individuals and make companies come up with more eco friendly ways. In the old days paper bags and cardboard boxes were used in supermarkets to carry your stuff, the companies stopped using them to save more money.
In most parts of the World, trash is seen as a major problem. Here it's the opposite; more trash means more power. There is solutions humanity's problems after all.
Love Oslo, Norway. Norway rocks. My country is one the worst when it comes to properly processing our garbage. I live in the most dense region in USA, but yet people don't about such an important matter. Our elected officials are useless. It is sad to witness their ignorance about global warming. Happy belated Earth Day from USA 😊🐒🐘🦏🐼🌻🌷
We are a renewable energy company in Indonesia, is interested to your technology. There are some questions we need to ask. What kind of raw material the plant can processed ? What is the raw material capacity perday or perweek ? What is the capacity of finish product ? And what is the bio fuel can be used for ? And the price of investation of such a kind of plant ? You can send me any brousurs or anything else to : genjabodetabek@gmail.com
Very innovative, i would need to contact you i work in a steam power plant in Nigeria and fuel as been a problem to us, and i have been scratching my head to see a way out, this your innovation is two in one solution i would like to introduce this innovation to some investor and government official who would like to invest in the power plant to solve these two problem in my country(waste and darkness) with this one solution for these two problem. my email is boyeoa@gmail.com
now trash has become a business, GREAT. What about DIOXINS release by these incinerators? The only real solution is stop making no organic trash like we do
I was reading a couple of reports on this plant working on a new system to capture CO2.If they're going to be that tight on their emissions, I doubt this place is spewing much in the way of dioxins.
The plant has Dioxin scrubbers, and reduce them by 99,999% And if the didn't burn waste, they'd have to burn something else to produce enough heat for district heating.
