I thought good Video too, helped me, but please edit it to say inch pounds, I probably over tightened mine until logic prevailed and I called Minn Kota. I think I am ok, but I could see someone continuing to twist till it broke. 40 inch pounds is about 3 foot pounds

Usually when the seals push out like that it is because the prop shaft and needle bearing in the carrier are damaged. Rust and/or pitting on the shaft causes the bearing to walk out, looking for a smooth part of the shaft to run on, which pushes the seals out.

Most likely I am using the Trick Stick by Jenko and the real is a Plusinno and I believe it is a 2000 series. The line I am using is Stren Moss Green 6 lb test from Walmart. The lures are in the description. Circle H jigs and Snacky lures on 1/16 jig head.
Thanks for sharing the video. I bought the TC27 camera a couple months ago. I experienced issues with keeping it charged on cloudy days. I hand up getting a 25W monocrystalline solar panel with a voltage regulator to provide 5v 2amps for the camera and that solved the charging issue. I am currently running into connection issues. I keep getting errors that the camera is offline. Sometimes it comes back and reconnect on its own. This time, it has been over 3 days and I am still unable to connect. The camera is very remote so it is not easy to physically restart it. But is has decent cell coverage at its location. Have you run into this connectivity issues? Any advice? Thanks Elie
@@PureLivingForOutdoors I reached out to the company and they instructed me to use the same sim card that came with the camera (3 carriers) vs the one I was using (2 carriers). The issue is fixed, I never ran into camera offline again. I also removed the SD card because it was taking extra time to load the recorded videos when I try to connect to the camera. This maybe a deal breaker for people who want the recording feature. Hope this is helpful.
Mercury and Quicksilver are the same product with different labels due the fact that a retailer must be an "authorized" "Mercury retailer" in order to sell "Mercury" labeled products while "Quicksilver" can be retailed by any vendor...that's why "Quicksilver" is available at Walmart while "Mercury" is purchased at an "authorized" Mercury dealer....same products.
You are telling people to tighten the lower unit bolts to 40 foot pounds. That is incorrect. It is 40 to 50 Inch pound which is approximately 3.5 foot pounds
Yeah unfortunately I read that wrong and it’s already out there! I’ve been corrected by a lot of people. Fortunately I didn’t break my bolts however I do know it now! I can’t change it cause I’m not reshooting it and once it’s on RU-vid you can’t edit it!
Well I have the 8616 and I got amazingly lucky! I bought a 7616 for 2,000$ and it had a recall and they sent me an 8616 to replace it! But yes you have to insure it for sure! My 8616 is insured with my boat insurance!

Just found your channel. I think I noticed you were using braid, and tied straight to your jig… I’ve asked several people why I couldn’t do that with no answer. I don’t want to have to tie on a leader all the time. Whats your thoughts?
If you flop those fish on the water they won't stay floating on top and will swim back down. Happens a lot of times when pulling those fish up from deep water.
I agree! I’m not a fan of it to be honest! It’s ruining fishing! I was catching fish long before Livescope came out it’s just a tool at this point! If you’re gonna tournament fish though you almost have to have one! Although I haven’t fished one in awhile I’ve been wanting to get back into fishing tournaments!
I have the same splitter and am having issues with going through logs and the auto return works but it won’t push the lever forward when it gets all the way back. Have you had any issues with yours mines less than a yr old
