I had the Atari 800 version of this and it was harder than hell. Oddly, this version looks like it's easier. The 800 kangaroo had the most pathetic jump for a kangaroo I've ever seen.
Yeh it is difficult, but at least on this game you eventually get a feeling of when to strike the ball, the game itself is pretty boring and not worth it.
LOL, those darn Vegans! Defend the planet from them! Eat Meat! is this game Russian? seems weird scrolling left and not right. This looks like a slightly more interesting version of Laser Blast (by Activision)...except that in this game you have no directional control of your laser? I like the sounds and flashy epilepsy lights, but I feel this game would get old fast, without any change in pace or different enemies...seems incredibly basic, even for an Atari 2600 game.
No this company originated from Ohio. You can scroll both sides i just prefered the left side. It does get old quickly, once you get hit your ship drops a bit making the game more difficult and usually death follows quickly.
I assume you mean 'objective' on 00:12 it is shown in the lower left corner. But you basically steal 3 keys in the right order from the correct enemy (which is shown on the top of the screen) to escape the airlock with a total of 3 different screens.
Never heard of this one. It looks like they did not use "variable flicker" so that it only flickered when sprites were on the same horizontal line. Faster and easier to program but it doesn't look as good.
I have honestly never seen that game before, I looked it up, it was only ever released for PAL format 2600s. (basically Europe) It shows that as good as Atari's Missile Command port was, it could have been even better.
