I can see why Tim Curry made the mistake like how he confronted Kevin when he found out the credit card was not his cause remember he said stolen credit card he did not know that Kevin was the McAlister's son he thought Kevin was a thief that stole the credit card so I can see why the clerk made that mistake in fact he's not the problem Kevin is because Kevin should never wonder around New York by himself in the first place.
