Goof quenstion! With my Queen to d4 move, I give a check and therefore white needs to get out of the check, so no checkmate is threathened. At the same time I attack white's queen and as a result, white has to allow a queen trade or otherwise will loose its Queen after Kh1 for example.
Thanks bro! He could have done that and it was the best move in an equal position. In return I get the d5-break in at some point and my Kings position seems defendable so I think that was his reasoning to go for c4 instead.
The performance rating is just the average of the players ratings, +-few hundred points based on accuracy. If you played like stockfish against an 500, your performance will be 1000. If you blunder scholars mate against hikaru, your performance will be 2500 Nice draw regardless
honestly just watched a few of your videos and i gotta say you are very good not just when it comes to playing chess but i quite enjoy your commentary as well. Keep it up👍

@@JetLe23 Nice! How did it go? If you want, you could send me one/some of your games so I can analyze them and I'll publish it and tell about concepts for you and other viewers to learn from. What do you think?
Thanks for taking your time to leave such a nice comment behind. It means a lot to me. Glad to have you onboard on this journey! And if you'd like to play against me as well, add me at chess.com (chessXplainer) and we'll play a game and it'll be featured and analyzed in this series :).
Thank you for the content. It is great seeing your thoughts and processes on your moves. Often, the master chess players see combos, but your teaching style of fundamentals (controlling the center, tactics, etc.) resonates more with me. Thank you and good luck on your journey!

@@Battle_cats_Bozo Good question! I think even more than with 8x8 chess, this game should be a draw. And starting the game has an even bigger advantage of course and therefore harder to loose indeed. But it very much depends on the difference in level between the players of course. I think it has some interesting differences as pawns are a bit more powerful as they are closer to promotion and zugzwangs are way more common in mini chess
