I'm just looking for a way to tackle making bas relief... not something I've tackled as yet and its hard to find an affordable class on this in UK. I'd roll out clay personally to aviod getting air trapped unless there is a viable reason not to if firing this in a kiln as a tile ... always welcome advice so please feel free and i really enjoyed watching face being made. Thank you so much for posting image created is amazing .
Great job! You are very talented! This is so beautiful! I'm surprised to read though that you shellaced the wood first. Can you please tell me why you chose to put shellac on it first? I would have assumed it would have just been better with no shellac at first for the paint to adhere better. And I just noticed you have not put anything up on this RU-vid channel in two years. Why? Maybe you've just decided to a different Internet route? Hopefully you have not stopped painting. You are really good! Thank you and blessings.
Stunning! You ARE a real artist, the concrete form of talent! I've always wanted to do this. You're living my dream. The video is full of precious techniques and ideas. Thank you for generously sharing your talent with us.
