What's the saying about hell hath no greater fury than a woman scorned? Well, there is no greater love on earth than that between parents and children.
As the owner of a 1996 Impala SS since it was new I can feel how this dad felt. How lucky this man is to have sons like he does. Pop hats off to your boys!
I know what owning an Impala can do to people. About 20 yrs. ago my wife owned 1 of 4 street legal 66 Impalas known in Europe ! Baron, PEP cars V8 U.S. car club, Frankfurt Germany
I have that same car with a black Vinyl top with the 396 four-speed ermine white with black SS interior. Thank you for sharing your story. Your dad has good taste in cars, and so do you! I’ll be watching your video over and over.
This story absolutely breaks my heart cuz .. my father had a Blue Chevy Impala Ss that he showed at Car shows but when he was killed at work in Aug 2,000 his " Wife" kept the car from us and sold it and this brought back so many memories for me, im so glad that u was able to find your dads car after all those years, im 41 now and i been looking for so many years here in Ohio but to no avail.... god bless you all
So he was playing at yhe park with grandkids, being filmed the whole time? Seems staged but his reaction seems sincere. I just winder ehy he thought they were filming to begin with
My grandma bought a brand new 1964 Chrysler Valiant, we Australians knew them as a Chrysler not a Plymouth, 225 slant six, push button Torque Flite automatic, when my dad was 11. Grandma drove it for 40 years, then leaded petrol became hard to get and putting lead additive in the unleaded all the time became a pain. It was sold after sitting in the shed unused for quite awhile for only $1,000. Seeing it go away on a car trailer after eventually being sold was sad. Love to know what happened to that car. Always remember the licence plate number, NTV 422.
Very heartwarming, and as the once-owner of a 1965 Chevy Impala Super Sport with a 5 speed manual, I can understand his feelings. (Mine was midnight blue, but otherwise, the exterior is so familiar.
