"THE LAST GENERATION..." in life, you don't always get what you expect. My dad tried to kill my mom, so me and my brother (johnny) moved from shelter to shelter. I developed schizophrenia and now visit the mental hospital every week. That's why I quit the violin for 24 years. Min jung park destroyed my brother's career, so now we live on social security. I can't fathom how sad Kevin's story is. We are..."THE LAST GENERATION."

To the random person watching this video...violin is dead. It started with the golden generation, (heifetz, kreisler, hassid...) and it ends here, ( kevin, Johnny and aaron) we are what I call the LAST GENERATION...

Dear twoset...if you view this video, let me give you a little background about us. Kevin Kumar, Johnny nam (my older brother), and myself Aaron nam all had the same teacher, Linda rose. We're what I call the silver generation. For some odd reason, we're virtually unknown. Kevin said Johnny's better than him, and my violin teacher said I'm better than Johnny! Haha!

Kevin! It's me, Aaron! I remember you playing introduction rondo capricioso at a competition Johnny was competing in. I vividly remember it because of the slow part. You played it especially slow. I've never heard that type of violin playing. I'll never forget it!

Dear Kevin. It's funny how you, Johnny and me all had the same teacher...Linda rose. We're what I like to call the silver generation. I remember you used to always wear cardigan sweaters during recitals, so I bought one too!. The golden generation was good, and heifetz was like a father to me. Let's see who wins!!!

Why do you think Johnny is better than Kevin? was he really supposed to go to Juilliard, but was betrayed by his violin teacher, was this linda who betrayed him? tell us more of the story lol you left us hanging in the comments section of Ray's sibelius (2021)

@@MattB90 yep, as a poster of that video, you have peaked my interest, is like a god damn jigsaw puzzle, that shit sounded intense, he was supposed to go to juliard but was betrayed by his teacher, tf did the teacher bribe the judge to not let him into juliard

@@MattB90 Johnny nam, my older brother, beat Kevin Kumar in all the main competitions. Kevin is like a heifetz replica. Johnny, on the other hand is a heifetz God! His teacher held Johnny behind to gain fame as a teacher. That's why he didn't go to julliard.

@@MattB90 by the way...Kevin admitted to Johnny at a recital, "...I'll never be able to play like you..."

Nice playing Amy! I play this piece in 1st position. Just changed the tenor clef to bass clef in the score. So much easier to play in tune. Brava Amy!

BEautiful playing on all of these videos of Barston and Blacklow... but the recording/sound quality is poor. Shame.
