Hi Dawn , Great and informative. Ive soent hours researching this and my take is a balance between protection and foward back flexibility. Brings me to ' trials boots' The are super comfortable and very flexible, particularly sole. ( As this is needed for trials riding) . Protection is way better than high tops and actually depending on brand you can vary this. Im thinking of getting the Gaerne balance pro tech or xtr. Currently i have a pair of shima strato . They tick all the boxes ! Except the boa system of closing comes loose when pushing on the pads sometimes. Very frustrating. Hence the change Hope this info is helpful Cheers, David Lynx and 64 years young 😅

Can you help me out. My Mten4 when I start to pick up speed over 10 km per hour. Then it starts tilt way back and the headlight start tilt up to pretty much a persons face level. Pretty much where I have no choice but to jump off at the time. It slowly creeps up. I don’t know what to do. I calibrated it twice as well.

the small "nick" in the tabletop can be fixed with a bit of epoxy putty (quite cheap to buy in DIY shops, small cylinder it looks like a small rolled sausage or hot dog :D, it has 2 layers/components, you cut a small slice with a knife and mix it, it hardens like stone in 30 minutes or so, it doesn't mold or change color, it is water proof and time proof)

When you're riding at high speeds on straight sections, you appear to be riding pedals only, knees a bit out, relaxed, no inwards pressure on upper pads, but I'm wondering if you are pressing forwards on the front power pads at higher speeds, similar to pressing backwards on back pads when braking to resist wobbles. I"m also wondering if EUCs like Commander Pro GT, ET Max, V13, ..., are less prone to wobbles than older | lighter EUCs.

With a switch wired in this configuration, a non-contact voltage tester can produce false readings. The white wire is, which is connected to all of the blacks in the outlet box, is hot all of the time. It should be paintec or taped black at both ends. It is in the same cable as the black wire, which is only hot when switched. This can cause the outlet to read hot when it isn't. Also, newer tamper resistant outlets make it impossible to insert an object into only one side. If the tester is not close enoght to the hot outlet blades, it may not indicate hot. It is best to always verify using a voltmeter. A basic plug tester also works. Connecting a lamp or appliance will work, but isn't always best practice.
@foogod4237
@foogod4237 11 дней назад
Those non-contact voltage testers are intended for checking live wires or verifying that all power to a box/receptacle has been turned off. They are not good for testing things like a "half-hot" outlet. You really should have an "outlet tester" which actually plugs into the outlet and tells you whether it has power, and also whether it is wired correctly (and can also do things like test GFCI functions, etc). You can buy them for about $10, and absolutely everyone who does any work on electrical outlets should be using one to verify their work anyway. You also really should wear gloves when working with a live box. Better practice is to actually turn off the breaker while you are working on things, except when you need to turn it on to test something (and then turn it back off again once you are done testing and about to button everything back up again). It takes literally a few extra seconds to do, and it can save you from a lot of pain and hassle if you accidentally touch something wrong somewhere.

I put them in a shopping cart when going to Walmart or supermarkets. At stores I put it behind the counter
@MikeKunkel
@MikeKunkel 11 дней назад
You should pick up an outlet tester instead of your sander. They are small and cheap, and they'll also identify specific wiring problems, as well as let you test GFCI functionality. Also, there are a bunch of videos about why you shouldn't rely on non-contact voltage testers. There are a lot of cases where they fail to work as expected. I still use one, but I'll always try to make it to where it is actively indicating current as I switch the circuit off, so I can see/hear that it was working and then suddenly isn't.

Nice. Well done. Try a UV backlight somewhere above that opalescent marble top. You will be amazed. I have a similar floor in one of the rooms in the house I live (rented) which I made my "workshop" many years ago, and (as I do electronics) I accidentally found when I was playing with some UV LEDs that the floor brilliantly shines in millions of colours under UV light, making the room look like a galaxy of bright, multicolored stars.
