Just discovered you, for my students. Great educational vid. One thing that i wish to point out is hvaing the oppourtunity to open and see 3 in carnations of The Skatalites, is that all 3 of their great guitarists; jah Jerry, Devon james andjerry hines, in his original pre-Jah jeerry days, both prior too and following the late great DJ, all playeed every genre; Jamaican ;Jazz, RnB, Bluebeat, Ska, rocksteady and reggae with all down strokes. I started yesterday it's my favourite song from bob. I now need to play more beautifully and then into the correct riddem of the song. But thanks a lot after 4 years I found it yesterday! Bless

Ska was first and i loved Desmond Dekker,Prince Buster,Byron lee,45.46 thats my number yess Byron lee,and BobMarley was ska before the reggea started,ah ther is a lot of guitar in ska,its fast,esy to dance to,a lot of reggae icons were ska singers,just to say im from ireland and born in 1975,but when jamaicans and the west indies emmigrated to England,its besid Ireland so after the jamaican ska in 79 2-tone ska genre was set up by The Specials,The Selecter,The Beat,The Bodysnatchers, Madness,and 2 tone ska was known as second wave Ska,ther songs were brilliant, Madness had a song "The Prince"after prince buster,and The Bodysnatchers were an all girl group they had a great song called"Rocksteady"... 2Tones logo is what i use its ther on the page as my photo,its a Rudeboy and black and white squares to represent the coming together no matter black or white and make terrific music,thers a video that was out and it shows all the 2 tone bands in their concerts live,all the 2 tone bands use to tour together,and the video starts in a jamaican dance hall and goes to tell about ska,its called DANCE CRAZE, and its brilliant, i use to go to gigs dressed as a rudeboy,i am a rudeboy still, SKA 4 EVER GOOD MUSIC NEVER DIES IT JUST GETS OLDER!!!!! Hello xylan,Paul here in Ireland,🇮🇪,ive only recently seen your videos on the youtube,im a ska fan,all ska,rocsteady,and reagea,i love the jamaican early ska,Desmond Dekker is brilliant,and Prince Buster,legends,and The Skatalites all geniuses,and Bob Marley as you know was playing ska before regggae came about,Derrick morgan,aw i love all the origional ska,and i lke reggae too,its mad,you cant like 1 and not the other they a musical genres that came from the Jamaican tree,and i loved you video were you explained to people the differeance between,ska,reggae,rocsteady it was good,i already knew being i started my ska journey in the late 70s when the people came from jamaica and west indies to england which is just across the sea from ireland,and they braught the culture and music,and by the 70s 2-tone ska was topping the charts in england,THE SPECIALS,THE SELECTER,THE BEAT,MADNESS,and that was when i started to get into ska,i dressed as a rudeboy going to see live ska bands,great days,and Bob Marley was a big star with all the reggae hits,but my first album i baught was Desmond Dekker,had all his hits,"you can get it if you really want,isralittes,it mek,all his greats and another Max Romeo,his song "wet dream"i i didnt hear much of max romeos music but that song i had,😂right sorry for going on xylan but your country is rich in music icons,i taught myself how to play guitar 2 yr ago i started,now i can play and i watched your video about getting the reggea double click beat,it helped me a lot,thank you,and this was another great video,its out 2ys,so when you made this video,i was learning my first chords,but thankfully i can play now,the reagae click beat is brilliant,bye xylan!!!!!
