Hi Micheal, correct sir, that is exactly what it is. One get hot dip galvanising, which is a totally different procedure and the best for steel, but mainly used in the construction industry and the spray can version for instant domestic use. Thanks for the question. Take care.👍
Hi Micheal, it is slow progress as i unfortunately cannot dedicate constant hours on it, but as you can see, there is never a "dull" moment. 😁😁 Thank you for commenting and watching my videos. Take care. 👍
Im having a little trouble with my own balancing machine is the same as yours, the problem is that the red light con the rotor dont send signal to the computer. I rotate the rotor and the red indicator in the screen does not move. Any suggestions? Thank you greetings from Mexico
Hi Adrian. Thanks for commenting. Did we not perhaps email each other last year. Please confirm if so, then i will email you as i have your email address. If it is not you, could you please email me on the address on my 'about' page. Thanks.👍
Hi James, i got some videos lined up on youtube already. Truth be told, i wish it was going faster but i have been quite busy with my bread and butter work, so it did take a back seat a bit. The next video is lined up for publishing though. Thanks for watching them and commenting. Take Care. 👍
@@mpe6678 I know the feeling , my escort keeps getting futher and futher down the list of projects I have. I have decided to crank out the other projects and then I will crack back into the escort haha. Cheers mate.
I watched your video again and some of your other videos on your channel, is this the first unit like this featured by you. Thanks for sharing the video once again.
Hello from New Zealand ! I have a escort van in pretty much the same condition. I am following you and your progress with interest. Keep up the good work !
Hi James.Thank you for commenting and watching my videos.Great knowing that we are "brothers in arms" Yeah, a fair amount of repair work but loving every challenging moment. If only we had panels as in the UK. Thanks once again and take care. 👍
Hi John, thank you for commenting, i reckon every time a pump is being overhauled/repaired and with every new build. One can have vibration tests done, whilst in operation to determine if there are any abnormal vibrations during operation, which in return be benificial for planned maintenance. Take care. 👍
Just looking at this video again brings back so many memories. I was looking at the XR6 cortina man what a car. Don't get me wrong guys I love that cars but it brings back a memory when my dad had a Opel rekord series c 2.2 man did we give that XR6 a run for it's money.
Hi, yes i will in the future, as soon as i get one to balance. I don't know if you checked out my channel, but i have made videos showing calculations on the pump impellar.Thank you for watching and commenting. Take care. 👍
Why are you putting a putty mass in a keyway, and do you take off putt mass after balancing. And what if you don't add that mass at the beginning of balancing.. thank am actually learning
Hi, thank you for watching and commenting. I am glad that you are finding my video informative. The putty in the keyway is to replace the removed material through machining. The density of this putty is not exact, but close enough to that of the steel. Some people put in a half key in the keyway. The putty mass in the keyway is not calculated in, only that used on the object being balanced during calibration. The mass when calibrating before balancing is important and must be added. That in the keyway is not a necessity, it just means that your balanced item will be more out of balance when a key is fitted on completion. Thanks. Tke care. 👍
Great video, i enjoyed watching all of them. I do agree about you perhaps skipping the next one, but it's up to you. Thanks for sharing the show. Take care.
Hi, thank you for watching my video and for commenting. I have made previous videos where i show data capturing. Please check out my channel and you will find it there. Take care.👍
Hi. I like the Morris minor's. But the Ford's are my favorite. I'm sure there are many more of these classic cars hidden away. Let's bring them back to life guys. People love to see them on the road again.
Hi Jason, thanks for your comment. It's hard not to love them all and yes, i agree with you totally, they need to be seen and heard on the roads again. Most def some gems hidden away somewhere. Take care. 👍
Hi and thank you for watching my video and for commenting. I actually made a relatively detailed series on capturing of the information etc.. Check out my channel and you will come across it and more. Take care. 👍
Hi David, thank you for watching and for your comment. Yeah, at one stage i pondered on getting a prop shaft balancer, but realised that i might be doomed in the future as most cars are becoming front wheel drive (lol) with exceptions off course. Go well and Take care.👍
Hi, that is absolutely correct. If your surface is smooth and the vehicle has the dolley wheels underneath each wheel, then one should be able to spin the car in the same area where it's standing, providing the width is as wide as the length. Take care.👍
