I appreciate your clear instruction on how to hold the paw and nail. I have never been as diligent about my dogs' nails as I should, and have always groomed my own Cockers. I would just give them little snips and hope for the best. I have a grinder but think I may need to move up to a Dremel. what model do you suggest?
Thanks for a happy demo, and especially for the way you kept her wrapped in a towell to do her rear end. I hadn't thought of doing that. Mine's 9 weeks and only had one bath and blow dry, so up to me to get it right from now on.
I love what you do! You explain everything in the best way! I just have two questions: How is ear length determined? Which brand of shampoo conditioner do you prefer to work with and would recommend? Hank you! ❤
Thank you so much for watching! The bottom of the ear hair should not fall below the point of shoulder. Otherwise it makes them look a little dumpy in the front load to the ground. All the recommended products are in the description of the video with links on Amazon for you!
If you're not showing you can take and card but just be aware that if you take you are cutting coat so it's going to stick up and curl a bit. I recommend the fine andis rake if your going to use anything😁
@@leslielyons1067 classic is the brand. I use coarse and then fine. Be careful if you buy brand new the are sharp. I tell people to saw some old wood with them to help fill the edges before you use on your dog.
I love this groomer; she obviously loves dogs and she's has common-sense... she genttle, but isn't holding the puppy like she's gonna break the puppy ❤ She knows you have to start grooming puppies at a young age, not like most who think you're gonna kill the dog if you bathe it too soon
You do amazing styles and teaching as well. Thank you. I have red, tiny toy poodle who is 6 yrs old and am trying to learn how to groom her myself to save close to $1000.00/ yr on grooming. Whew, I admire you ladies and men that groom for a loving, it takes soo much time and patience also it can be such a tedious job. Thank you bunches, iam learning so much from you.
I LOVE the way you show how you do things! You give so much information for me as a home groomer and I am SO WILLING to learn!! I HAVE learned so much from you!!! You are genuine with your instructions and kind to share it all with us, the viewers! I LOVE your videos! Thank you!
Is there a specific age when they can go from puppy cut to lamb cut? I love seeing the Pom Pom on tails and head. I dislike the short cut ears as well.
Not really. It holds up better after they have gone through chat change and gotten more curly and better texture. That's usually between 10-18 months old😁
Love it. Real groomer. Hope i make her proud. 🙏 😢 i try to tell ppl the same. But a lot of pet dogs. I use the same techniques xoxo nice seeing a seinor groom doing exactly what i do. Im a 20yr groomer. This is an old trade
I have been watching you for awhile and I love how you explain your dog trims. I am finishing up dog grooming school. I have already got tested on a Cocker, Scottie and Poodle and I did great from looking at your videos. Thank you!
