This take is honestly terrible, if they had a stacked relaunch roster like Joker, Jason and agent smith and than made people wait weeks for a new character just for a banana to be revealed the game would completely be cancelled and uninstalled by most average players. This is literally the only time they could release him without causing actual cancellation. People thinking just cause a new Adventure time character gets released means more will never come out, this game is supposed to be a smash copy its gonna have 100s of characters one day. All you're favorite characters will come out eventually. Why hate over a banana when 3 other goated characters are already confirmed, honestly a child take imo
I like how you decided to make this comment AFTER the new trailer released so you can make your argument look better. I recorded this before that trailer came out and its very obvious that is the case. Anyway never said banana guard should be revealed last, maybe just during the season would have been better (and I really doubt people would have uninstalled if they did it that way). I never said they couldn't add more adventure time characters later. I just said I don't his inclusion. I pretty much made no stance besides that. You guys need to get a life if my "child take" makes you write a paragraph of nonsense lol.
This trailer was a great animated piece. No doubt. But I don't really vibe with how BUFF Jason is and I as a long time Matrix enjoyer (especially the first movie) did not recognize Agent Smith right from the get go because his shoulders ar just too gosh darn wide. The face is pretty good but I expected Neo, my legit most wanted to join MVS as the first Matrix rep. Regardless, Agent Smith's my highlight and this redesign is not overdoing it, although I wish they'd trim down his shoulders a bit. You can land a plane there. Jason ... personally the leaks killed any sort of excitement I could've had and his posture just turns me off. Agent Smith overshadows Jason for me completely but that just my Matrix bias, ngl. I really do hope that this game make me catch on with plat fighters again because I wouldn't wanna see it fail. NASB 2 lost me the second I learned about the meter and I just wanted to stick with MVS because of its 2on2 focus and lack of a meter. I want to enjoy MVS so bad because 1on1 fighters aren't doing it for me any longer (hence why my hype for Rivals 2 died) and the game was a JOY pre-shutdown and with a Matrix rep I essentially got something I really asked for. And the roster is cracked as heck yet not too big. Tl;dr please be enjoyable, please be for me. Agent Smith Train!
I can agree with Jason's frame just being too wide. I'm for exaggeration but something is TOO off about his proportions to me. I can see how it's off with agent smith too but it didn't really cross my mind till you brought it up.

This is a crap character inclusion that does NOTHING to honour the legacy of Warner Bros especially in this relaunch era of the game. The timing just really sucks. I dont even like the pick but itd be fine as like some random post relaunch thing or whatever. It's just very odd to make this a character for the buildup to the game coming back. Im sure a lot of casual fans think its fine and silly, but I really care about this game and found it a really underwhelming thing to do right now. It's not even like a "this is fine" it's a "What 💀"
Jason being added now makes sense given that him and his mom went bananas. Anyways my own thoughts on Banana Guard; I don't *dislike* his inclusion, but this is just not a good impression between Multiversus's already weird roster, him getting in before notable characters like Marceline and/or Ice King (I know his inclusion doesn't mean they're deconfirmed, they just should've prioritized character releases better) and his fairly boring moveset. He'll probably grow on us in time, but this isn't a good look for him right now
I hope people realize and appreciate that a game from a new smaller developer has given us what Blizzard and EA promised an PVE mode for two of their games and never delivered anything like ovrwatch2 is just idk and let’s not forget Diablo 4 where they purposely pissed off fans for greed and then tried to bck track 😂

Ok I will reiterate then that the intro is a joke and I didn't say it was a joke because I was practically giggling during it lol. I know thats the only thing really being addressed with this comment cause I go on to say "I don't really want to lecture the devs about who they should add, this just isn't for me." All your points are valid but you didn't really need to point them out to me. I must say tho it probably wasn't easy to make the banana a character, theres still a lot that goes into it but he was probably easier to make for the reasons you mentioned.
i highly doubt this took much development time, just a refurbish of the item model and all of the moves are fairly simple. I would love this character but I think the timing is weird, I'll try to make the best of it
The character was leaked and they decided to just release the trailer early. Could be something they had planned for later on but decided to just go for it when it got revealed through the leak

This isn't your ordinary fighting game. If you are a fan of Super Mario, smash brothers, then you will understhat's the same kind of mechanics. And fighting style and movement that they have cause Mario. Smash brothers will always be a classic legendary game. So if anybody is CNS or recognizing why this is so different from the other games. That's because it's the same thing. As just different characters and it's more of a improvembut. I get it and I understand whatever body else is saying. Cause you're gonna have your likes and your dislikes. But at the end of the day. A game is a game especially when it's new and it's coming out. You just got take the bat with the good and if you are a true fan you're gonna like it and if you don't you don't, but I think the game most definitely has Protential.
I use to be a fan of 1 on 1 fighting games back in the day playing theses games today 2 on 2 or whatever is the future for games It keeps you more interestend the game and the characters. It makes you care about the characters. And and as a team I'm just working together period trying to rise to the top. I know that they're still trying to work on a lot of games that are like to display. Just my opinion. I think this is really great for the future. Games and games to come not every game. When it first comes out, it's gonna be great. Perfect. They have to fix the bugs and the glitches. So I get that and I understand that, but I'm pretty sure this game will be a success so I'm gonna say that, I like it if no one else does I think this game has a bright future ahead of it plus what game do you know and how long has it been since you combined? DC with Cartoon Network and whatever else this game has to be able to. Offer, it's perfect. It's great. You get everything all-in-one so I think it's great.
