Hello! I was wondering if someone could share experiences of making a transfer at AMS. I am arriving from USA and have a fairly short layover on my way to Scotland. Will I need to go through security when I land in Schiphol? I would really appreciate any thoughts.
Just came here to comment that I’ve flown in and out of Barcelona 3 times and not impressed with this airport at all.. coming in from international origins with non-European passport is an absolute nightmare. You get to queue in line to clear customs for more than 1.5hrs upon arrival. At departure you also need to queue to clear customs after clearing security, which is absolute bull 💩..
Let me guess - England, or America. We don't do passport checks on exit, because our systems are entirely digital, Europe does, because they need to stamp your passport.
