its weird seeing the receiver without a wheel,i dont know much about RC but i always kinda assumed you had to use the wheel, and it has always been that, cool to watch
Wish that this had English subtitles. I've been friends with Masami since 1995 when we were both on Team Associated together. Him and his dad really understood winning at the highest levels. Awesome video! Also, Masami is a National Hero of the country of Japan for his RC Racing dominance.
+chris smith nope, he pretty much ALWAYS used Tekin, after they became popular, because they were more reliable during the early development in the 1980's. The Tekin 600 was one of the best speedo's I ever used. In 1/12th scale the Tekin 600 gave you an advantage over the Novak T4 etc. I personally only ran Novak because it was part of the Trinity/Losi deal I had in the 90's. I hated it BTW and would constantly try to copy the LRP step band with little success. By that point the LRPs had passed Tekin and Novak in being the best. Masami won the majority of his WC's with Tekin Speedo's though.
cool. Thanks for pointing that out. I remember that his first stealth car had novak stickers but in the second one, I think he had a KoPropo speed control. I guess I assumed because he was with associated, they kind of went hand in hand with novak and reedy.
