Hey I'm CrowTheTrueGod, but you can go ahead and just call me crow.
If i had to explain what I do here or what my content consist of, I would honestly say this a gaming channel where i can share my gaming moment with you. However i want it to be more than just that, i want this to become a personal channel where i can grow and evolve with the new people passing by. I want this channel to be my legacy so i hope we can all create something to be remembered in 10 or more years.
With that being said I'm 28(currently)
Played games since i was 4
Favorite game series - too hard to choose just one but mostly open world rpg with choice dialogue
Least favorite game type - racing
Favorite baddie - Power 💀
If you have any obscure series that you would like me to explore that's severely underrated don't be afraid to leave comments on my videos!
It may be a good game, or it may be another woke garbage game I don't fully know yet. It could be just poor timing with all the other AAA games trying to remove a male masculine character so the straight masculine gamers have fewer characters that we can relate to or it could actually be a good written female character we just don't knew yet fully but we have to watch and see and if we see anything with Sweet Baby Inc or at least there ideals anywhere near the game I'll have my answer🧐
do you rlly need a character that you can relate to for a game to be good? maybe instead of seeing any other kind of protagonist as ‘taking male masculine characters away from people that can relate to them’ you could try and see the different perspective that that protagonist, being of a different group, can bring to the story? Especially in the case of women in fedual Japan who had DRASTICALLY different social roles than that of men. I never played GOT but the whole problem gamers have with instantly labeling anyone different as woke is a little sad to me
@Bryito I don't think the game will be anything like dustburn for example, just look how respectful they were to Japanese culture in the first game. As for characters we can relate to as men, their are still plenty of games to choose from but you can't for get that gamers are almost 50/50 men and women now. So every now and then women shoukd be allowed to get a character they could relate too, hopefully their well written enough that even we can relate to her regardless of gender
@CrowTheTrueGod I don't know a lot of time has passed since the first game, and Sony has been making a good number of mistakes recently, plus the current state of the AAA industry doesn't help any thing either🤔
@Bryito while that maybe true I don't think it's exactly fair to discredit a studio before they have even made the mistake, there is always a possibility that they may slip up as that applies to every new game but as fans I think we should approach new announcements positively until shown otherwise as it's just a teaser
@CrowTheTrueGod that's not how I personally do things. I acknowledge that they're a company that is interested in money I the consumer I am interested in, possibly their product I also believe when it's coming to dealing with companies you must train them with the carrot and the stick. When they do something good, they get the carrot in this case, money, and when they do something bad, they get the stick, no money. I don't give any companies my loyalty, and I also don't believe in pre-order games.
Same shit happened with Space Marine 2. “Woke” because black, asian and a strong woman character. Not even kidding. Manliest game rn. Hate this culture man. What happened? What happened to enjoying shit?
I feel like that this is a bit disengunious, most of the issues seem to come from more so behind the scenes issues not the game itself. It may be a perfect game, well written, well acted, well paced, and great playing.....that doesnt change behind the scenes factors of the actress hating on fans, the ceo doing a battlefield 5, and so on and so on. Maybe; instead of assuming theres a narrative to push; look into things a bit more than surface level.
@killa13675 I made a video talking about the complaints I've seen, nothing disingenuous about it. But to reply to you I think it's up to you if you want to not play the game cause of the va but that's unfair to everyone else involved that have nothing to do with her personal life
@@CrowTheTrueGod her personal life? She stated that she hated the fans publicly; mind you, it was on twitter/X. The issue is you're willingly ignoring that part and assuming that I'm saying "Oh she said that in confidence to someone,", nah, she stated that outright. That, and the company's CEO pulling a battlefield 5 and saying "don't like it, don't buy it." The issue comes down to the fact that, people aren't mad with a female lead...they're mad with whom they chose as a lead. Using the argument of people not liking it cause the lead is a woman is just a reductive way to think. The consumer is a bit more savvy nowadays and isn't willing to be talked down to by the people in the industry anymore. Combined with sony's recent blunders, this was just an additional blunder in people's eyes.
@killa13675 it will always remain true though that you don't have to buy it if you don't like her or what the ceo said. As for her hating "fans" it's hard to generalize us all together in that one group, especially after taking a look at her Twitter and seeing straight homophonic comments and the what not. I won't say she's a good person, but I won't act like this would ruin the experience for me. What does her disliking "us" change? As long as she does her job and the game feels like a true sequel to got I just don't see the outrage. You don't have to like or support her, just play games you want to. How it used to be in the good old days before the internet became so toxic
Can't wait to binge the entire play through on a school night! Jokes aside, I hope you enjoyed omori! if you do recommend going to the other route, don't overwrite your save file! this route always has some cool bosses and eastereggs ready to discover, and I always find myself going back to this route whenever I'm bored!
Just stumbled upon your video, i don't know anything about this game and haven't understood much. However, even though i am not used to playing a lot of solo video games. I think you made me want to get into this game blind.
The Mewo Room is called the "Punishment Room" in the code. The Faceless Room is the "Meat Room." The room where your friends are swimming in pools of blood is the "Incubation Room." These are where your friends are cloned to replace the ones that die in Headspace Im curious if you have any theories on what Something is, or what the Red Hands signify. You've picked up on a lot of story-relevant details despite this being the obscure route.
@jthecryptid I am really curious about the red hands myself, they seem like the authority that keep the place together. The question is who controls them. Sunny or omori 🤔 I did notice that they give you it as a skill of omori so it Is interesting
@@CrowTheTrueGodgood observation about the hands. Also your observations about Sunny having "strict parents" is in the right ballpark. Do you plan to do the post-game content after doing the True Route? It's a huge deep dive into Sunny's mentality but probably needs the True Route's context to get the most out of ir.
@Ji-ho-k1h the thing is that until then, it is actually about a fated love story about nicole and Mark and how they would eventually end up together after all the hardships they go through to get over loss and grief. Cathy gets along well with Mark, but as a brother/best friend kinda thing. She even has a crush on Sophia by the end of the first story, so I just don't think it would work
@@CrowTheTrueGod well you have a point. i just want to see a timeline where cathy and mark end up together cause they really go along well in my point of view. thanks for making me understand though. i didnt really understand some part and it confused me abit. thanks again.
Oh me too! When i was new to until then i honestly thought they would get together, but when i learned about the fact that nicole and mark were canon that shocked me
@@CrowTheTrueGodYeah, sad truth. At the end of the day, she feared more the fact that she was going to lose her friends, more-so than the fact that they wouldn't end up together. Still though, honestly loved their chemistry in comparison with the others, which just hit even harder that it wouldn't go any further
The route you’re currently on, if I’m being honest, doesn’t reveal too much about the main story. When you’ve finished your initial run, I recommend going back to open the door to KEL, which will put you on the true route! It’s definitely a much larger emotional rollercoaster. But please, definitely do finish this route first! When you look back, you’ll see how much the tiny hints and stuff mattered! Also, quick tip when replaying, if you don’t wanna deal with the bosses and you want to get through to the main content, using COFFE on a HAPPY KEL when he flexes, then proceeding to do RUN ‘N GUN pretty much one shots any enemy! I’m so glad people are still playing omori, and I hope you find the true ending as gut wrenching as I did 🥲
@@CrowTheTrueGod you don't have to but i still recommemd it. Also to keep checking every mirror you find. The ghostly apparitions Sunny sees in the real world are foreshadowing. They look scary but wont attack you. Fun fact, the spirits/ghosts/apparitions you've seen so far are based on a real creatures from Japanese mythology: the ushirogami (fear personified), the onryo (angry ghost), and the rokurokubi (long-necked yōkai). Some Headspace NPCs and rnemies are also based on yōkai: Po, the Snow Bunnies, and maybe Van (he reminds me of an oni). Seems that Sunny knows his folklore.
Headspace (vast forest, other world etc) all these places are considered in the dream world On the other hand When sunny wakes up he is in the real world and he is seeing things that aren’t there because of his trauma but all that’s in the real world is actually real it’s his real life
Humphrey says "I'm afraid this cycle will never end." Map of Truth says "They are revived time and time again..." What they are implying is that Headspace is a cycle, a sort of magical reoccuring dream*. Every time your friends die or Sunny gets close to this "Truth" something impedes him and the game/dream is reset. Those mountains of bones in Humphrey's stomach and scattered in Sweetheart's dungeon? Those are the bones of your dead teammates from previous cycles. Your teammates turning into toast is a cartoony censorship for death. Those bones are what are actually left behind. Technically every tine you die/Game Over is canon. The path to the "Truth" is moved every time a new cycle begins. You can't find the Lighthouse on this route, but the Barn on Otherworld and the Library underneath Sweetheart's castle used to be pathways to the Truth. That's why they house Sunny's real memories. Headspace is a distraction from whatever's bothering Sunny. These dark areas are where Sunny's real uncensored thoughts and feeling lay. The lines about Mari are very important, but you need to play the main route to get the full context. *There are 4 NPCs that clue you in on what Headspace is and Sunny's relationship to it: Daddy Longlegs (Pyrefly Forest), Keeper of the Castle (Sweetheart's Castle), Mr. Outback (Orange Oasis), and Branch Coral (Deeper Well). They're all found behind hidden doors + Mr. Outback only appears in a short window of time. The wiki has their dialogue typed out if you just wanna read it.
Love Guess you found a way to get through Got so used to feeling nothing at all For so long (Long) Now all I wanna do is love you But my head is holding up my heart, my heart And I've seen all the signs What if they're all lies? Will it even matter what you say? Can you make these feelings go away? Tell me, is this real to you? 'Cause I can feel my heart again You're so tempting but I'm scared so I'd rather pretend That I don't love you like I do 'Cause I don't wanna hurt again I wanna love you but I'm scared so I'd rather pretend I'd rather pretend I'd rather pretend, oh-oh, oh-oh What if I'm at a loss Hoping you'll come back to me when you're gone? There's so many ways I've seen this going wrong So many ways I've seen this fall apart 'Cause I've seen all the signs What if they're all lies? Will it even matter what you say? Can you make these feelings go away? Tell me, is this real to you? 'Cause I can feel my heart again You're so tempting, but I'm scared so I'd rather pretend That I don't love you like I do 'Cause I don't wanna hurt again I wanna love you but I'm scared so I'd rather pretend (Pretend, pretend, oh)😅
Are you on console? I highly recommend looking up a guide to the hikimomori route, there's tons of important and fun content hidden at the end that's easy to lock yourself out of. The hikikomori route is... interesting when its your first run. I hope you do the main route next, it'll recontextualize everything
Wow! First time seeing someone chosing the Hikikomori route at first time! So, I don't know if you want to know this, but I'll try not spoilering anything. Go down if ready: Choosing to open the door to KEL or not is the first moment of the game when you can choose a route. By not opening the door you choose the Hikikomori route. I recommend you play this route to the end, then come back to that moment and try opening the door. That could lead you to other endings (including the best and worst endings). This route won't spoil you the good and bad endings, nor will it explain the " t r u t h ". But it's worth playing anyway!
