@@opioidfeinI can see it’s clearly only 4 basses and they are typically used for runs. But given what they are working with they should’ve adjusted accordingly
I'd have to give the edge to Norfolk St. on this one, but I AM a fan of both programs (💎💎🌟🌟🌟). Norfolk's musical blend & balance (intonation) was crystal clear! I could hear ALL of the melodic parts between the upper & lower brass & woodwinds & the drumline/percussion parts were nicely written & played, especially the cymbal parts! NC A&T had some balance & blend issues to where all the parts didn't come out clearly. They just may have had an off day which is not the norm for them (usually ALWAYS clear in intonation). BIG-UPS to both programs for outstanding musicianship 💎💎💎💎💎
NSU took the W the entire weekend, but I was at this event and thought both bands had poor song choice and arrangements for this battle. It was dull, demonstrated no showmanship or real power. A bit of a let down.
I see a bunch of A&T haters in these comments!! NSU flag girls looked a mess. Now moving to the bands and to be honest both sides weren't all that good!! Everyone knows how blue and gold rocks out but that day/night wasn't it.
The Legion was best in show thee entire weekend, NCA&T played like they didnt even realize who they opponent was going to be, still sounded good tho but still second best
@@FamousKelz82 very boring especially for them to be rivals. They 5th quarter was horrible as well.i love nsu but I see what people mean when they say they barely have battles to prove themselves
This was a good battle and they are well matched but I would have liked to see these two battle someone else since they literally had a game the day before.
Come to Norfolk on September 29, 2023 and you will witness a “real” gym battle between two BIG rival bands…it’s always lit…trash talking…dance lines going at each other for blood…drumlines battling to the death…NSU vs A&T
