Ove got an 86 f250 with the 6.9 idi and 5spd. im looking to do a 12v cummins swap you got any pointers on doing because in pulling the engine and trans out of my truck and starting completely from scratch, (my first time doing something like this) They sell swap kits for the engine & trans mounts? Wiring ? And the other components Also ould the 12v even fit ?
My advice is estimate what you think it will cost and multiply that number by 3 and you mights be close haha! Yes I bought engine mounts it’s a lot of trial and error even though it’s such a common swap. We are struggling with the tach on mine now and that’s about the last of it life got busy and haven’t got to work on mine
Did you end up suing them? The same thing happened to us but our phones got completely soaked and ruined. Our trip was basically done after this. Hoping you can help me out and find out what you did?
Hello everyone i own a 1986 f250 4x4 6.9 idi c6 trans not sure on transfer case or axle ratio. Looks like a dana 50 hd ttb in front and dana 60 rear? Anyways its a super cab long bed. I have a 12v 6bt p pumped and alission trans 6 spd 4x4 trans and transfer case wiring harness(whole donor truck). The 6.9 idi is wore out. So i want to swap keep it all mechanical thinking of a manual trans 6bt set up. Where to start what is needed were recomended parts such as swap plates could i reuse the c6 behind the cummings?? Is it a bolt in??
I went parasailing over a month ago in Ocean City Maryland. The options were 400, 600 and 800 ft. I chose 400 and glad that I didn't go any higher. I thought I was going to lose my shit at one point, but I pulled myself together and stayed calm.
Oh boy, shark meat for sure! They were lucky no sharks around . It would have been like a scene from Jurassic Park when they put the goat out as bait then you saw just the rope left 😱 No way would I ever do this 🦈🫣🫥
