I have a error code 36 backing down the hill the axle rotated and I think it no I can't get power to the wheel. 10 inch lead 45 pin is it replaceable question mark
When I put on the 19" every swing was a target. It's not stable. I don't know if its a bad one, I sent it in for a broken pin, and they sent me a knew one. I want to use it, but its so noisey. I own 32 acres that was an 1850 gold mine town in California, and so the soil maybe a bit unstable. Not sure. Watched a few vids of the 19" in action, and they too are noisey. Mine is a bit excessively noisey.
Interesting you should say that. I found the 19" to be sensitive but also quite stable, probably more so than the 14". Because it samples a larger area of ground it tends to average it out rather than react to individual patches of mineralization - that's the theory anyway. It's not a coil for lumpy terrain however because of its large size, and constantly varying its height above the lumps can cause ground balance issues which can cause noise. The soil in our goldfields is generally very mineralized but I found the coil copes well. Ground balancing with the ferrite ring is supposed to help.. Hope you have some success on your goldfield.
You can - with difficulty. Battery is fine but wiring on the controller needs to be worked out - namely the wiring for the display. Or else run it without the display, which is OK.
@@joc1862 wow thanks for the speedy response well I have an LCD 8 display connected to a KT controller, but I don't understand what you mean about the wires to display. If I run a KT controller 22a with the 750watt motor I guess I'm good to go or am I missing something.
I got the 17x3 z coil from nugget finder and i wasnt to impressed i also have the 12" z nuggett finder z coil which i like the best. Im hoping x-coil makes a elliptical coil like a 10x5.. these x-coils seem pretty decemt may have to get one.
It would have been better to buy the wheel 1000wat 32amp controller either battery that came with bike 48v20amp or you can get 52v 20amp 35to37mph with regent braking on controller under £300 worth it or 28amp controller and solder shunt bars
Who needs brakes anyways? Surely they were the second best cycling invention. A pair of Hokas would last a whole summer, unless you lived in the mountainous areas, as brakes. Just like my old converse did with less dense more abundant materials taking their place. We find things by looking.
So much EMI and ground noise to draw any conclusions. I think the 14" was getting it at the end, because repeated sweeps over the target seemed to be upsetting the GB?? Also that nugget being on an angle on the end of the stick, would be affecting max depth capability.
Was there a few weeks ago with a few other detectorists - soaking wet ground, wet leaf and fallen branches litter everywhere & target spots were difficult to locate. Gave up... Try when things dry up a bit.
Thanks for the comparison. Since there were vehicle noises in the background do you wonder if EMI with the bigger coil had an effect? Audio smoothing would affect the performance also. Otherwise it seems inconsistent for the 14" coil to only go 4" with the half grammer in my experience but conditions likely vary a bit.
Many thx for the vid, but for me it wasnt convincing enough, you know were the nugget was cause you planted it there, but if you had done a test not knowing were the nugget was i reckon 90% chance you would have missed it for sure, i know it was a bit noisy because of where you were but for me ground noise can do your head in ,,ground noise can change day to day pending on the weather hot and cold days, damp or moist grounds and so that can play havoc with your coils and machines, i can keep going here but over all its worth it only in perfect conditions,,its only my view, but many thx for sharing,,goodluck out there my friend
I've got a 5000 with a 17x 13 nuggets finder and the use of my friend 6000 anytime I want.I always find the 5000 out performs the 6000 which always picks up ground noise and can be at time very annoying. Ill stick to my 5000 thank you
