lets goo !! ayo nice video my friend keep it up and have a nice day :D !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@GallonOfBlackTooth AMT M2 preamp with bass at 9 o' clock, mids at zero, treble at 13 o' clock, max gain. Boosted by a Boss MT-2 with zero gain, full volume level, bass, mids, treble at 12 o' clock. Mesa V30 as an IR.
@@Anndre_ Very similar settings I think. Main part is to scoop the mids and crank up the distortion. Maybe the crank does not need a boost at all. At least my Crate GX-130C does not need one and still has room for gain.
Woh I wasn't expecting to see a cover for this song. Very nicely done! Your guitar matches perfectly as well! I started transcribing this song a while back but got stuck. Thanks to your cover, I'm back to finishing the tab, so thank you.
Thanks a lot for the nice words, man. Nice to read that it helps you transcribing the song. I tabbed out the whole song as well but there are minor parts I'm not sure about. You'll finish it I'm sure \m/
@@DeathMetalManiac1988 Hey thanks I ended up finishing the tab. If you'd like to compare anything with yours, I've uploaded it to UG and Songsterr. I also just uploaded one for "Swallowed by the Ocean's Tide" :)
Basically you have to use the Marshall 8100, gain to the max with slight overdrive. Cut the mids really hard, highs around 1 o' clock and bass around 10 o' clock. IR is critical as well, you can use any IR to your taste basically.
Thanks a lot! I've used the E2 preamp by AMT - awesome sounding peace of gear. As for guitars, BC Rich Stealth with Dimarzio X2N as a humbucker. Behringer UMC404 HD as interface and Reaper DAW.
Oh thanks, man! It was a Behringer HM300 pedal into a Digitech GNX2 with the Marshall preamp and cab. Really low gain on the GNX2, high gain on the HM300. Then straight into the audio interface and post eq.
Thanks a lot! It was a EMG 81-7 loaded guitar --> Boss MT-2 Keeley Mod --> Boss NS-2 --> AMT R/S Bricks Preamp --> AMT CP 100 (Mesa V30 + SM57 IR) --> Behringer UMC404HD --> Reaper. Of course post EQ work as well in Reaper. Cheers.
Thanks, man! It was EMG 81/7 loaded guitar --> Boss SD-1 --> Boss NS-2 --> Marshall Valvestate 8100 Input --> Preamp Section Out --> AMT CP 100 (Mesa V30 + SM57 IR) --> Behringer UMC404HD --> Reaper. Of course post EQ work as well in Reaper. Cheers.
@@aheadofmetal Basic stuff like high pass at 100 Hz and low pass at 7k, also a dip at 4k to cut off some dirty hiss. But you have to scoop the amp really hard in before hand to get into the right area. Also the position of the mic seems to play a huge role, I think. Or in my case the IR. I'm generally really suprised how scooped some of the tones of metal bands are - it's crazy haha. But it works in the right context it seems.
Thanks, man! I try to use equipment close to the original, like in this case, a boosted Crate GX130C, to get the same gain structure going on. I use most of the time an V30 IR on the tracks, since it's the speaker a lot of bands use. Then I tweak the amp by listening to the original track and apply an EQ (critical) in the DAW. That's about it.
