People or fans are very contradicting. It's funny how we went from sosa, mcgwire and bonds basically saving baseball and excitement to the game in a time where steroids were legal to say the least to hardly ever mentioning these guys again or inducting them in the HoF. Shameful
This is why it was so irritating when the cubs announcers were bitching about Acuna's 70th steal celebration. Their cubs did the exact same thing with This. The morons forever ruined the clip of him holding the base talking over a historic movement. They are hypocrites.
What a shame that this channel doesn't have more views or likes this was real baseball back in time and sitll nothing can't compared too especially the miami marlins...
I remember back then in the middle of the season when he was on track to get 60 I could stand off days.. They just seemed to last forever.. Man those were great times.
Steroids work. If only he would have just come clean instead of that clown show he put on in front of Congress where he pretended he suddenly couldn't speak English I might have some respect for him.
Bat speed and the ability to make contact is why his homerun numbers went up. He would have broken the record regardless. Bulk cuts down homerun numbers. if it were that simple, MLB would be filled with bodybuilders. But it isn't how it works. Sammy tries to kill everything and it is also why he racked up a ton of strikeouts.
Say what you want they made baseball “IT” again. I have seen 30 to 50 additional players get busted and not do what Sosa,McGwire and Bonds did. Those dudes plain and simple could hit in there sleep
why did it say September for the 45th home run? lol…. BOTH the 45th and 46th were in the same game on August 10th… so whoever put this original video together only got the 46th HR correct 🤦🏻♂️ lol
Slammin Sammy Sosa my favorite baseball player of all time. People forget how incredible he was and how he saved the game of baseball and what an incredible person Sammy was. Truly miss seeing him play, he had a major impact on my life.
I was next to the guy who threw his glove down after I missed the ball that hit my glove when he ran into me…any way to get the more clear video from ESPN?? Been looking for this video for 20 years!
