YESS! Finally, a DBDR replacement I can watch - also I like that you are trying to move forward and have the "will to improve/live/whatever," so to speak, cheers!
@@yuriythebest not gonna lie this comment made me go down a bit of a rabbit hole because i didn't know who DBDR was, and now i just want to be critical of the guy. I wouldn't want to call myself a doomer incel, because thats a very defeated mentality to have. Im glad you enjoyed the video though, thanks for watching
@@grahamchapman20-03 to clarify, I didn't mean you were like him per se (also I've only just subscribed), other than that both of you are good "speakers" to listen to late at night after a hard day and have a manner of "drawing you in", so to speak
this monologuing over random gameplay would have hit so hard for me in the late 2000's and early 2010's. Sadly this content is no longer for me but i incredibly respect this type of content. I wish you the best homie +1 sub. Gives me Seananners+General Sam+something else I cant put a finger on. anyways, love the vibes
I don’t know if you go to the gym or not, but to give a suggestion I think going to the gym would be a very good outlet for you, back when I used to feel the way you do, lifting weights and cardio really makes you feel like you’ve accomplished something, even more so when you’re demotivated, cause for me when I exercise really hard it let’s all of my emotions drain away and I’m no longer sad or angry, I become Happy. I hope you’ll find something within the next few days that brings you happiness my brother
That is a good idea, i used to have a solid routine, ive been slowly getting back into it. Not every day is like yesterday, but it happens occasionally
I was probably 10 when I tried to figure out gears. At first I was naive, imagining that, well, if you first geared something up, and then used that to drive the original input, there was your free power, right?! I discovered, then, that torque and speed are exactly inversely related (before even accounting for loss). You can gear something up to go 10x as fast, but now you'll have 1/10th the torque. Gear it back to itself.. you'll either have what you started with, minus friction, or with a gearchain that's completely stuck on itself. This is the essence of what believers in these machines always miss.
I am still here because you are asking the questions I may soon need some answers to as well. I'm still here because you're a budding tuber and I have similar ambitions. I'm still here because, if my first impression is correct, you're here to unmask yourself... I suppose there could be a question mark at the end of that sentence. Continuing the video, and to answer your next question: You're asking what your direction should be and I think this video is, in essence, the answers to its own questions. So, to me, this video is exactly right. I like the _flow of consciousness_ model. If you're taking questions, though, here's one: I wouldn't mind hearing about your first ever video (I still need to go and see your earliest one on this channel), why you did it, how you felt beforehand, how you overcame discouragement, either from inside or outside, if any. I also wouldn't mind hearing what you learned about yourself because of that first exposure. will do some watching of other vids now
I appreciate the feedback, thats not a bad video idea. You might be a little disappointed though, i used to just post total nonsense lol, and a dumb video gained way too much traction. I wish you luck with your own channel
i got recomended this at random, i clicked on it because i thought you were going to do something very intresting in half life, im still here because its taken me this long to write the comment. Honestly if you were talking about intresting things, while playing various games would be intresting, and could be a very good sorta podcast vibe, alot of video essay youtubers pour alot if energy into visuals, but for many many, they only put them on in the background while doing something else, so Id try doing this with some maybe higher effort audio, while not worrying so much about visuals, Though. A visual hook, being a thumbnail or a short segment of high effort video, could do wonders for retention! I hope this can help spur some ideas!
That is some very helpful feedback, thank you. Im still learning how to up the production value, getting people to proof read scripts and actually setting up my microphone, and everything else that comes along with it, but ill get there
I think you're great at talking, your points really sticks to my brain after the video, If what you want is what *we* (the viewers) want I can't answer that. In my opinion, the gameplay videos with you rambling is really good and that you should just keep working on what you're working on to be honest. no advice here. hope you figure out what works for yourself.
@@CJGarner-bj3qw this is my old setup, stock exhaust accept for the axle back bit, i got it from Pierce Motorsports. Just search "veloster turbo axleback"
If I remember right I believe it's called Chained Together. Been awhile since I seen a video on it though so might be a good idea to double check that.
