I am a freelance guitarist- I play solo and with various ensembles. Most of my videos here contain solo guitar arrangements I come up with as part of my process of learning tunes I like.
Feel free to reach out with and comments, requests, etc. I’m working on transcriptions to be available on my website (under construction) Erikmcintyre.com
If you feel inclined to show some support, you can buy me a coffee! Anything is very appreciated. Music is what I love and also my livelihood. Your support helps me keep doing it. Anyway, thank you for tuning in, I hope you find some inspiration

The tempo here and your phrasing are really wonderful. I think I tend to associate this standard more with Mildred Bailey, as it was one than that she revisited, although the Holiday-Wilson take is superb. You have a highly personal sound on all types of acoustics.
@@Trombonology thanks ! Yes I’ve come to associate with Mildred Bailey more as well. I started listening to her recording more to hear an interpretation of the melody more akin to the way it was written, and to get acquainted with the verse. That Billie Holiday box set was a gateway for me into a lot of this stuff though.
I don't recall having heard this one played in G before -- allows for some interesting movement. So nice to hear the verse, too -- a rarity now. This one always gets to me, too, and your treatment is beautiful.
@@strings41 yes the bridge.. I think I never felt totally comfy with it.. I made lots of these videos essentially to document ideas for voicings etc for future reference. This is one I’d like to revisit and nail down a bit more. That bridge is tricky
Such a subtle and delicate treatment of this beautiful song! The not too long lingering on just the right notes shows high artistry. On the edge of melancholy but always uplifting. Thank you!
