@@NerdDrunk ah didnt really strike me as ironically funny. Maybe tellin him to add some carbs to his diet would have been funny or you'll have to go off the atkins diet and fill out a bit to fit this 😄
I honestly cannot remember at the moment. I've been trying to look it up. I know it was from a documentary. It was either on women's basketball as a whole but most likely a Geno or Uconn doc. I wanna say it came out around the 40th anniversary of Title IX Espn doc era. Could also have been a 30/30 series. I gotta keep looking though. If I come across the original doc, I'll let you know
I loved the writing for the pre-shooting scene (#27) with Sam calling Abby "Abigail". "Something's wrong..." that was just brilliant suspense writing. ER writers were so crafty with that - giving the audience a chance to figure something out a split second before the character onscreen does.
That was a great story arc, but it was such a gradual buildup that there wasn't really anything surprising or shocking nor was there a particular specific moment that was impacted. It was more the story arc itself
This is one if the greatest tv 📺 shows know to man it deserves all the praise in the world 🌎 for what it did for lots of people thank you er cast crew and directors writers etc. Jamie
Poor Paul McCrane...he has 3 of the worst deaths in history: Emil in Robocop, Deputy Briggs in The Blob (1988) and Dr. Romano in E.R. Of the 3, this was the worst: the helicopter took his arm....and then a year later, SPLAT!!!!
I used to not like Dr. Benton. He is the type of character that grows on you. You learn to love him, in his own way. Honestly, I think that is because I saw part of who I am in his character. He's very closed off, the walls up type of person. It takes a lot for them to allow someone to see them from the inside. But, once they do, they protect that relationship at all costs. Deeply introverted, like to work alone, if possible. Has no problems being alone in life, matter fact, that's when this type of person is most happy. Driven to work hard, and be successful. I could go on all day. Dr. Benton brought a great deal to ER. He is now in my top three favorite characters. I was sad to see him go. But, I understand it was his time to move on. He can't stay anywhere too long. It's not in him to do that.
