The panel charges the house batteries. It is connected through a deck fitting and charges the air conditioning batteries in the lazarette which are in parallel with the house battery. I used the cooler to store the propane tanks for the stove. If they leaked, the gas drained overboard.
Hi Justin, I bought that panel back in 2013, and I no longer have model or make info. I do know it was purchased from e marine systems. It was a small, fixed frame model. Here is a link to get you started on the right track: www.emarineinc.com/categories/Fixed-Frame Jim
Nice video. I'm sailing the conquest in August and also stopping in San Juan and Grand Turk. I've never been to either. Let me know if you have any suggestions.
+Marc H Hi Marc, Thanks! It was a very pleasant vacation. I never did get into the on-board activities like the shows, gambling, etc. I found the basic Internet connection was useful during the 3 days at sea. It only cost $60 and provided 24/7 service, and I was able to communicate by email. Pre-book the excursions -- they fill up fast and cost more when you sign up on board. Jim
