People like Tectone manipulate for a living its their core modus operandi. All these personalities disorders in the same corner as narcissistic personality disorder tend to share this behavior as a means to an end or deal with their fragile ego's. Tectone keeps memeing about having NPD and claims he can't have it because he likes to uplift smaller viewers to a higher status. But that isn't an act of selflessness in the case of Tectone. He wants to establish himself as the man that made them and reach into their little corner communities. It puts him in a position of "them owing him something", "robin hood" and feeds into his grandiosity complex. And that's just one example. He's a guy who is very possessive in relationships and friendships. Very jealous of nature. He has to be in the center of attention.
