Thanks for watching! The cabin itself was not that different than your typical stateroom- these were the enhanced accessible features which make it different.
I guess this applies to most cruise lines, don't sail during March break in the U.S.. Was on Regal in March 2022 and pools packed and food floating the entire cruise. 😫
Yes...MSC sucks! They over-promise with upgrades that are under supplied. The low level workers are fine if they notice you (you always have to get their attention), but the upper management and crew are complete aloof d***heads. What I saw on my cruise from NYC to Miami and Bahamas was a lot of loud cheapskates in the mid and back and a walled-off front of the ship for the 'yacht club'. Holland America was much better for mid range experience.
Looking to plan my second! What month is this? did you stay in the "rustic jungle huts" and if so, did each room have a bathroom? Or was it a community bathroom?
This was October 2022. I did stay in the rustic village at Tena, that's where the blow darts, chocolate making and bug eating happened! I wouldn't call them huts. More like a lodge; several rooms together in a main building. The bathrooms were communal. There were several bathrooms on property. Each room had twin beds with mosquito netting and a small shelf unit, that was it.
Royal Caribbean and Carnival need to joint venture and start a commercial shipping company. See how MSC likes that. Stay with what you know MSC because cruise ships is not your thing. Horrible experience
I just had a friend who hadn't cruised in 20 years..He along with family cruised on the Msc Meraviglia 3 days.March 16 2023.I know he was expecting a fabulous time.I asked him how was the cruise. And I quote it sucked! He started by saying the sit down dinner took 2 hours to be served.I said that is a legitimate complaint. He also stàted there was nothing to do.I haven't heard the rest of the issues. Will get back to you.
We really appreciated the hand washing stations outside the buffet. They are so much more convenient than using the restroom. I wish restaurants would do the same thing.
I'm not big on spending a huge amount for a single night's hotel before a cruise, so I opted for the Ramada Inn. It was clean, quiet and close to the cruise port. Don't count on the shuttle...you'll lose! One thing, among many, that Princess does best are their beds. I would have packed mine to take home if I could have figured out how.
You're right. It was smaller than I was expecting. Thanks for this video. I thought I was going to break the medallion trying to get the out of the box.
just back 2 weeks ago . most comfortable bed i ever slept in the food was fair. buffet and sadwiches from shop were like from a gas station. wifi was terrible... we were in the med 7 days barcelona marsalles genoa pisa rome
Thanks for the input! The internet seemed to be hit or miss. It worked well for me, but I heard people complaining about it onboard. How was your service in the main dining room?
@@AdventureMadeSimple at the time it the names were unimportant and i dont remember their names. one was on a more main deck and we had trouble getting in. the one the floor below had exactly the same menu. no problems. there the food was good. room service burgers at midnight didnt take to long. cant remeber the name of the stand to get a sandwich at night.. had a roast beef sandwich older and drier then a roach coach were i ate as a constuction worker. the buffet ugghh, , finally found the place to get a fresh omlette.. so you ordered it went to your table handed the waither your ticket then he retreved your order.. ok it worked. found the place to get a fresh pancake. under cooked guess i looked extra impatient. the lunch buffet inedible.. as bad as the bufet was it was better then an all incusive i was at in the dr in april that was truly bad, lived on burgers pizza and soft serve ice cream.. bed was the most comfortable ive ever slept in.. as bad as the app and wireless were there was a help desk that got myself and companions up and running. the find a friend was fun at times if not a little creepy
ps dont get me wrong i had a great time the ship was beautifull im just nit picking. drinks and food were johnny on the spot.. a guy could get used to having servants at your beck and call. so much so as a blue collar it was almost to much and at the time mentioned it in dinner conversation. i almost wish i had more needs.
@@andrewfischer8564 my mom has been on 3 princess cruises and says that the regal by far has the best food. I’m surprised you didn’t find the buffet good. I remember the buffet being fantastic on my first regal cruise.

Yes to all! When you cruise on any line, you have access to the pool for free. Same with water and coffee (aside from fancy crafted coffees). With the Princess Plus package, you even get most alcoholic beverages included, as well as wifi and gratuities. It's a great value!
@@AdventureMadeSimple Thank you so much sir! I enjoyed your video and it was very helpful! I am thinking of taking a mediterranean cruise on the regal princess. And I have one more question, is there a shower and bathroom in your room or is there a common space for that?
We are headed there this summer for 10 days to Grand Turk. Nice spot on the west side with a golf cart to get around and over to the west side of the island. Any tips?
It was hit or miss- I had some good food and some downright bad food. Cruise food is cruise food- you're serving 3000 people at a time so how good can it be, but I was indeed disappointed.
