I remember the song, "Who Let The Sooners Out" being played on the radio. It drove the Okie State fans insane. I just moved to Norman a year before this game. I was eating at Subway one night when Heupel and his girlfriend came in. He was holding her purse, ha. Magical year. We need this NC run again.
Did Weinke ever send Heupel the Heisman he stole from him that year? Yet another reason they need to wait until the last snap has been made for the season to award the Heisman - and other awards.
Saban cheated his entire time at LSU and Alabama paid players under the table like all SEC schools did for years. Bob was the reason Florida won title in 1996 as he then went to Oklahoma and Spurrier never was the same.
My family is huge OU fans but nowadays I just don’t enjoy watching them as much anymore and it could be how college football is today with money being the most important thing over the love of the game but I’m still Boomer Sooner all the way
He was the quarterback at my high school the last year of 6 consecutive high school championships that Banning high won. The things he did in that final game against our Rivals Carson high were ridiculous

Yes, that OU "D" was one of the best in college football history, but when OU hung 77 points on Missouri, then 63 like the next week, it wouldn't be too hard to do.

I became a sooner in the 2015 because I was grounded and could only watch tv and first ever sooner game I watched was vs Baylor with baker mayfield and sterling shepherd they had a crazy game and I’ve been a sooner fan ever since…I’ve might not been born a sooner but I’ve been bleeding crimson and white since 2015. The play that helped ice the game against the Cowboys for the Sooners back in 2000, and was attempted again in the season of 2023 to try and get the Sooners a potential winning drive - but was short and ended with a Sooners loss. Crazy how one play both helped to win a game in one season, but ended up as a losing play in another.
This is the best video. I am a massive Sooners fan and have been since I can remember.this video is my childhood movie. I can just remember playing this video on repeat and then after gettin all hyped up and excited for ou football, I would go outside and play “OU football”.so I guess the moral of the story and the reason I’m saying this is to thank you for creating a staple in my childhood.
