Toshiki, Sebastian's actor got the visuals of Sebastian I swear. Out of all the three actors he got the most accurate one when it comes to visual. Then Yuya for the perfect voice then Yuta for Sebastian's humor
This song convinced me to give this musical a shot! I was really heartbroken none of the original cast returned, especially since Izumi Shuuhei had played the Undertaker since 2008(!) and Furukawa Yuta is quite possibly the best Sebastian we're ever going to see on stage. But Tateishi Toshiki isn't bad at all! I'm still a little curious about their decision to cast an older actor as Ciel this time, but given the liability involved during the production timeline, I'm not surprised. Maybe I'll order the DVD and watch the whole thing now that I've heard this song. :)
I just decided to watch the musical because of this song too! It becomes catchy the more I listen to it, I was so happy it was the main theme they used for the curtain call lol. I had reservations because of Ciel’s adult actor too. I think partly because this is a school arc, so if they casted a young Ciel, they’d have to cast child actors for the other students too (or at most late teens for P4) and I think that’s impossible for a stage crew. Imo Eito Konishi has the advantage that he could play out Ciel’s dark/manipulative side as well, whereas the previous young actors played him as an innocent character or victim of circumstance (which he was also). I think it makes for an interesting perspective to Ciel’s character!
I cannot understand shit BUT the costumes, choreography, music, all had me GAGGING. STUNNING Having now finished the manga- I now know the story in this arc and holy mother of hecc it gets dark

I can't wait for the next arc ^^ the new season is probably going to make the production earn the attention (and money?) back, I want to believe there's hope! Also, because it's a sin that I've never experienced one live!! ☆
This is definitely the most choreographed out of the 6 musicals. Not going to lie, it’s weird seeing Ciel and Sebastian dance so much. It’s a welcome change considering both the actors are very good dancers. It’s also the most animated of the musicals because of the arc being the most light hearted (Yknow until the end xD). It’s definitely a shock to the system after watching the second or third musical. The fifth one was a lot more choreographed than it’s predecessors but neither leads could really dance.
Do you know where I can find any of the musicals? So far I've only been able to find Lycoris that blazes the earth and I really want to watch the rest of them.

Definitely. He was incredible! Matsushita Yuya is not as good as Furukawa, but even he's better than this actor, sadly. I feel like the actor who played the headmaster would have been a stronger Sebastian in this production.
Please give these actors more credit. Not only did they work incredibly hard during the pandemic, but sadly the production had budget cuts so they could not perform as well as the other productions.
Yana stopped making black butler into a continuous anime :) but she is still writing the story and adding new characters in the manga!! This musical is based off of the Public School Arc which came right after book of Atlantic! <3
She didn’t stop per say. It’s just a matter of the popular demand of an arc that would deem an anime or not. They didn’t say they wouldn’t make anymore. All they said was they had no intentions at the moment.
