I say as good of a trooper as he was for eating something he clearly dislikes that you gave him a wonderful surprise of something he loves. He took it in stride for a good long time before he started protesting. I cant say mine would've ever lasted as long as he did but gosh he sure was adorable.

Yes let him decide to eat cookies and garbage food because he doesn't like healthy food. My grandson is like that because he was never encouraged to eat veggies or even fruits.
