Why does it often happen to me, when I make a dry fly I work with 8/0 6/0 thread, it keeps breaking? One says that it's all the way, the other is up to the fly reeling technique.
Fantastic! Beautifully touch dubbed! I always thought Gary LaFontane came up with this method but I was reading a book by E. Tod on Wet-Fly Fishing and you nailed it! I'm going to review Pritt's North Country Flies to see if it's mentioned There too. Only difference is Tod's book uses a black hen hackleThanks for sharing the video! Cheers!
Be more interesting if you had used thread of the "original " type. With proper silk you can't just lash down more and more turns until you're happy, you have to make every turn count. Nothing wrong with the fly, it's very nice, just not the original dressing.
