Gladiator is the greatest baby-face of all time. Commidus gigged him with a poison dagger brother! That’s a heel move dude. Face vs Heel! Commidus did the job and put over Maximus brother! Now baby Lucious has a whole bunch of heels to slay dudes! WOL, I don’t know about that brother!
Hardly an amazing line up of actors. The story seems like something we all want to delve into. There are hundreds of stories like it but none have been made into decent movies. FFC has made some of the greatest movies of all time but he has also made some of the worst movies of all time. How this is possible I don’t know but let’s hope he doesn’t fuck this up. If this is his passion project and godfather wasn’t then this needs to be better than the godfather. So yeah, let’s see how this one pans out. With his choice of actors I’m not too sure about. But let’s see….
Movies these days don’t do a good job with one thing. Just one little thing that makes up a whole movie basically. STORY. It’s like movie makers have lost the ability to give us a story a real story we can believe and get behind not only that it helps you better understand the characters you have to know their strengths and weaknesses of course but if a movie has no story… it has no essence and then in turn has no business even being made. We can say “they shouldn’t have made this crap” to so so many movies made recently. They’ve lost their way😂
So what is his deal ? He is not in this movie but he is in original, and in sequel his legacy (son) is main character ! So why the hate ? He can answer questions politely not being spoiled rude grumpy as..le 🙄
Gladiators were pivotal in roman life, the bread and circuses are what kept people happy and not overthrowing the emperor or in the republics days stabbing senators… for the most part. Also go check out how many Servile wars and revolts Rome had. Most famous being the 3rd with Spartacus.
