Hello! We're creating a new video and would love to include your clip on our social networks. Can we use it? We'll make sure to give you credit in the description and add a watermark to the video
He didn't stop.. I gave them the video which they appreciated. They chased him in the parking lot and had already taken a picture of his plate. The manager said they have surveillance cameras but were glad to have a different view point.
This is very cool, we must be related! Madelyn is an aunt related to my Grandmother Toni. I was just reminiscing about stories of Holiday Island she used to tell me. Grandma Toni has some letters and pictures from living at Holiday Island I’ve recently been going through. There is also a McCalls magazine of Life on the St Lawrence with cousin Kay. Thank you so much for posting this.
Hi Erin, I am sure that we are. We put her book to words and as many times as I have read it there was different things I relearned from her stories. There was many mentions of Toni throughout her book during her time at the island drive.google.com/file/d/197dzk3qVLKWivcMN7pM1nhBvf15it__I/view
He really has and when I watched the original video from October I even forgot how thin he was, his face was so sunken.. Made me cry just watching it again. I appreciate your kind words!
@@HolidayIsland yes indeed the shape of the top of his head, his boney bott, and those horrid sores. My how he has grown and shaped up, beautiful ❤️🩹❤️ We rescue shepherds so understand the small steps that make the beautiful bigger picture. Yours is a wonderful success story it shows in how happy he has become. Thank you for yr thankyous and yr lovely words too. Keep up the good work x
OMGoodness, I am so happy, so happy for your big-talkin' pup! He's so precious and thank you for all your care and caring, for all your love and the slow & steady joy it brings. Hoping all the best for you three amigos...❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊🎉🎉🎉
Thank you so much! My heart never hurt so bad when we first saw him in person, the night he arrived at the recuse we volunteer for. It really stirred a lot of emotions, even anger to see how humans are to animals, but we quickly realized the only one emotion we wanted to have around him was love. He is such a talker, I can't even go outside for more than a few minutes and he is telling me a story when I come back in.
Tom is one cool ass dude! Met him last year at Shoot Out at Camden. Most in his situation would just turn their nose up at you when you talk to them. Super cool dude with a badass boat!
I heard about the minnow bucket and the hibachi from my Grandmother Madelyn during our many summers together at the island. Not as serious as this, but we have had another boat that came right up on the head of the island. My Uncle Steve and I helped this guy back off the rocks, all by hand and working with the waves got him free. He had a small hole in his hull but said he was sure he would make it back to his trailer. We asked what happened and his reply was he just stepped down in the cabin for a minute while leaving the boat in gear, not something I would recommend.
@@HolidayIsland😂 I'm sorry it really isn't funny but remembering all the silly (Stupid) things we did as kids on the island ourselves I am surprised we weren’t sent to our rooms for the duration of our stay.
Same here! Everyone had thought David was in bed not out fishing when the house shook. Truly a blessing David nor the 2 people in the boat were all uninjured!
@@HolidayIsland Thanks for the reply. NO idea as there is NO compass and I don't seem to catch you at sunrise or sunset.. My playground was Black River & Henderson Bays out to Stoney. Primarily lived summers on Ass Island in the early 60s. Haven't been in your area in 30+ years. From Albany I crossed at Akwesasne to pick up 17 to run to Sudbury or the Soo unless I needed something in Metro Toronto.
No problem ;-) we have 4 cameras on the rotation, the first looks at the American span of the 1000 islands bridge in a SW direction. The second looks across the channel at Wellesley Island, the 3rd and 4th look towards Alex Bay (NE) Thanks for watching from Albany!!
@@HolidayIsland I bailed from Albania 15 yr ago. SW NM 30 mile from Mex border. High desert - grew up in 24 ft annual snow & -48* to If it snows before 10 roads clear by 3 and 115* summer. Never seen a snowplow locally. Motorcycles ride past the house 360 days/yr. 1/4 taxes & utilities I check cameras in Watn, Boonville, Old Forge. A Bay almost every day. BTW really enjoyed the xmas elves.
I assume they are held in place by a heavy chain or cable? Does it just get dropped to the bottom when the buoy gets raised? How do they get placed again in the spring?
