I need the function in the opposite direction! If the cable is cut, it triggers the alarm! The device is in the boot and the cable goes round the bikes on the bike rack.
I connected my mypos sigma device (nexgo un20) and it doesn't seem to have stable operation. (all the lights flash and communications occur intermittently). I can only send a payment request when the "cashless device" LED flashes repeatedly several times.

We have the demo PC software to run on the windows PC. User can use the software to send the command to control the MDB payment device and also receive the payment credit data. After user is familar with the MDB protocol and data, then will develop the software in the VMC (normally use the android board to work as vending machine VMC board). @@waferstar I don't quite understand exactly what you mean but it sounds like you are saying that we need an android board to act as the vending machine VMC? But here is what I have set up. I have downloaded and installed the MDB-RS232 Test Tool and have it running on a windows PC. I have the the IM30 connected to PC via the MDB-RS232adapter using a USB-RS232 converter. The MDB-RS232 Test Tool parameters set to baud rate to 9600, Parity to None, and then selected the port that the device is connected to. Questions: The "Cashless device" led is continuously blinking on the MDB-RS232 PC adapter. Should it be steady? I do not see any information being sent from the IM30 to the Test Tool when the IM30 is initially connected. Why is that? Does the Test Tool running on the PC act as the vending machine VMC? Thank you.
Actually looking at your video again, my setup is similar to yours except that I only have an IM30 device. Also from what I see on your PC screen, the interface of the MDB-RS232 Test Tool on my PC looks a little different than the one you have in the video. Can I send you an image of my setup and show you what the interface of the Test Tool on my PC looks like? What is your email address?
Letpos board, that output is NPN open-C output (the same as the pulse type coin acceptor). also Letpos board has a relay version, it has a relay output (when received the preset credit payment ,then relay will be shorted for a preset time) So for NPN Open-C output type, we provide two wire output and for RELAY output type , It has a output terminal on board (NO, COM, NC)
That is easy to test with PC software to communicate with mdb payment device through MDB-RS232 adapter box. after familar with the mdb protocol. then easy to do the programming on the raspberry pi. So we suggest the customer to test with the PC software firstly.. then later the serial communicate data format is the same. Any questions, can check the www.mdb-rs232.com also can download the protocol, manual and PC Demo test software.

In Chile, would be better to order the 3G or 4G version. because some sim card provider already stopped the 2G (GSM) net. so you need to contact the sim card provider if still support 2G net and select a suitable SIM card provider.

hi, i have this all functionality works as described except the most important one: it does not send the SMS when the power fails. it only sends sms when power returns. i changed to a different bigger Li-ion battery so the battery is not the problem. couldn't be that the firmware is corrupted? did sent an email to the email address on website but there was no reply

I purchased this product on your aliexpress store but I can't get it to work. I inserted the SIM without the pin code (I tried 3 but without success). If I don't insert the SIM the LED flashes constantly, but if I insert it it flashes 6 or 12 times then stops for 3 seconds and starts again. what does it mean?
