Sound is good, very original, especially the "meow" on engine retention, it has a lot of personality, it reminds me Jeep Willis of American army. Aesthetically the same cannot be said, it is certainly not the car's strong point, to be indulgent, I like another one better that did look externally similar to street cars, by the way, it won this rally and WRC 85 and 86.

What an incredible vintage video! The sound alone from the Ferrari V6 is intoxicating, as well as knowing the drivers had no "electronic" assistance, people were standing alongside the road course, etc. These were raw cars, and they required great skill and talent.

This takes me back to my childhood in the 70's, watching the safari rally. No other rally car has such a distinct sound, maybe also the Audi quattro which had an iconic sound. Fantastic.
If it was not for the germans inventing a safe rally car by putting stabalizers on the front , we would still see the likes of such cars gracing the rally circuit , light , nimble to the point of twichy , mid engined rear wheel delights like this , trust the germans to pitch up to a cavanossi party with a bratwurst in a roll ! Bloated awds were born under Audi , fortunately Lancia did show up with a Delta Integrale evo 2 to shut op the potbellys again .
