Hello, thank you for your comment much appreciated. It's a Gamo mount, it came with my Gamo Swarm. A reasonable bit of kit but it does have the sticky pads of doom. I'd recommend a Sportsmatch one piece mount. What is the issue you are having with finding a suitable mount?
Yes indeed i reckon a lot of collectors in the uk have this deac....ivd got a polish 1950 version, mibe has a dummy bolt that moves, but the bolt doesnt have the small cut like yours, although seen them like that...still a nice cheap 'WW2' type sub machine gun.....i havnt, unfortunately got a violin case 😊😅😊😊
If I remember correctly it was you that suggested I get one. I bought it second hand rather than from a dealer. Its a great little thing, it has pride of place over a window most of the time.
Giraffe, just bought myself an SMK PR900W to convert into a 10m target rifle, love all of these videos showing the changes that are needed and how to do it, thanks!
Hola Nick . Yo e recargado cartuchos .del 12 .. Pero recarga metálica nunca .pero veo que tienes las manos heridas . El taladrador va mejor .. Lo bueno de esto .harás tiros siempre iguales .... Recibe un fuerte abrazo .
Hola antonio Me gustaría intentar recargar cartuchos calibre 12.
I wonder if the plastic stock version remedies the issues you have had with the split wood stock? (or rather, is it worth dropping some class for a more rugged product)
I haven't seen an Express with a plastic stock up close. But yes, I think that would be the remedy to the splitting and should be better finished. You could always get the plastic stock hydro-dipped in wood effect, it can be very convincing.
Hola antonio Sí, prefiero usar munición que he recargado yo mismo.
Have a Diana Stormrider myself. How many shots are yall getting after fully charged. I feel like im getting less shots out of a full charge than a year ago. Bad seals?
I'd say so yes. The rifle should have come with a spare set of seals, but if you aren't confident then please take it to a gunsmith. To answer your first question, I get around 30-35 good shots from mine. Then the power drops off.
Hello, thank you for your comment much appreciated. To be honest I find it quite therapeutic. There are some quicker methods but they don't have the same level of accuracy.
Ha ha, yes it takes a while. I wouldn't want to be doing it while an enemy approaches. Thankfully the bolt on the rifle is very quick, the magazine holds ten rounds and I have 4 of them.
Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. I'm using a different editing software. It's deafening through my headphones on 25% volume but I'll turn the volume up. Thank you and apologies.
Hello, thank you for watching and thank you for your comment much appreciated. There is a link in the video description. As far as I'm aware they also fit real Stens. Hope that helps, all the best.
Hello, thank you for your comment much appreciated. It's a Huggett moderator. It is a good bit of kit and does help with cocking and muzzle flip by adding a bit of weight. The gun was purchased sexond hand and came with it fitted. Sadly I don't have the original end cap.
hi Nick I've got the Stoeger A30 s2 could you tell me if this gun is also known as the Stoeger x20, my spring has broken and cant seem to find anything for my A30, everything i find is for x20. many thanks for any info.
Hello Thank you for your comment much appreciated. Sorry to hear that your spring broke. From the pictures of the A30 that I've seen I think they are basically the same as the X20. If you are in the UK it looks like you are limited to a Titan spring, no.11 I believe but please check that before buyingas I'm going by info on one seller's website. I'd bet it will push power up over the 12ftln limit, so please make sure the rifle is chronograph tested after fitting the spring and check it again after you've used it a bit. I don't like fitting Totan springs because of having to alter them, but they do damp.down spring reverb and they do last well. The spring I fitted was a Titan No.6 spring from a Mk6 BSA Meteor, as you can see it needed a lot of work. Hope this helps, let me know if you need anything else.
Hello again and thanks for the video. As I live in Portugal, and as we are next to Spain, we used to be able to buy Denix's models until 2006, when another socialist "government" restricted even more guns and everything that surrounds this subject. So, Denix no more. This company could be better, as they got plenty of experience, knowledge, means etc. But that's just me. Please when you can, take a look at Shoei replicas, and Maruzen, as well as Marushin and Tanaka. All those are Japanese made. I hope you can get them where you are.
Hello, thank you for your comment much appreciated. I looked at the Shoei, it looks fantastic but wow it's rather expensive. I managed to handle a deactivated MP44, I want one now but I don't think I can afford that either.
@@nickvending9688 Well do not give up! Here I can do nothing: Denix and other replicas are forbidden, deactivated guns are not allowed as far as i know, and they are expensive too. Only airsoft and some 4,5 and 5,5mms replicas are allowed but lots of paper work, etc. Japanese replicas beside Tokyo Marui, and maybe one more brand may appear, but on a very limited models , in number and kinds. And only for airsoft players. Well I am not a player and I will not be. I am a collector, and an occasional plinker. In your case, I would do this way: I'd pick some good photos of the real steel gun I want. Maybe if I could, I'd use the Denix and airsoft replicas , and if you have a shop where you can work in peace, try to ''mix'' and make a better replica , if you have the means or if some good friend of yours has, and lend a help. I know Shoei is unreachable. But please investigate if MARUSHIN, MARUZEN, TANAKA, have what you want. See also if something comes up on the NATURABY in France. Here I also have issues with the portuguese Customs! How I'd love to live and work in Spain or France. But I have problems with French language... Anyway, please keep me posted, as I am curious, and your victories are deeply motivating to me. Greetings from Portugal!! P.S. Watch here on RU-vid the Chris Schuler as he builded one. And call for some help and advice to Waxmax also here!!
Hello, and 1000 thank for this video. I am a German guns fan, and despite we can not have any of these guns in Portugal, I could handle 2 C-96s one in really good condition. That is why I turned to replicas, but even those are very limitated here. When I will buy my C-96, it will be a Wei-tech, because of the realism. Yet I would prefer the C-96 "basic" not the Schnellfeuer model... But what can I do?? ( And yes: BOLO was produced in 1920... The revolution was 1917...)
I have 500a,,it is a dove slayer..it has dropped everything in Ga except Bear..squirrel,,rabbit,,quail,,geese,,ducks,,many deer and very many wild hogs..it has a slight crack in both stock and foregrip so im going to make something modern but functional..
Sounds like a great project. Sadly this project stalled. Mrs Vending then decided she wanted the 500, so it stayed as is rather than being rebuilt. I will be swapping the fore-end over to a modern plastic one at some point.
Love your vids. Old style or new. Today’s generation have a very short attention span. I’m old enough to remember having free milk in Primary School., until Thatcher stopped it. Love the chatting in your vids too. You’re a wise Man.Will be attempting this very soon. Teach me more… Oooh Master… Keep posting Nick 👍
My KWC Luger would misfeed bbs that would get stuck behind the right grip . It would hold 20 BBs but wouldn’t feed. Too much spring pressure? There was a very small 15 on the frame. I started loading 15 BBs, no problem. 16 BBs, misfeed. Go figure. It was still fun to shoot, and I am sure it shot hotter than the claimed fps!
Hello, thank you for your comment much appreciated. I'll have a look on mine for a 15 on the frame. The BBs don't exit the magazine on mine, it jams the trigger. I don't think mine has much power. It does sound like they are quite variable, guess I got a bad one.
Giraffe 2 years late. I bought an SMK PR900W in 2019 but have hardly used it. I do like it though. Even if it had been available I wouldn't have bought a Diana Stormrider the additional 20 odd quid would have been the reason though. There are as you commented quite a few budget PCP air rifles which are obviously based on the SMK Victory/Artemis platform. I personally don't much like plastic stocks but they do have their uses particularly in tropical environments (I used to live in Queensland) and had several polymer stocked rifles in .223, 7.62x39, .308 Winchester (all Wetherby) and 7.62x54 R Stockman (my companies own brand) for various applications. My .460 Wetherby had a wooden stock and was far too pretty to take out often and then only for Buffalo. Now I am back in the UK and stuck with sub 12ft lb air rifles. 😭
Hey, better late than never! Please check out the budget PCP series for what can be done with a PR900W, I love mine although like you I don't use it much. What were the Wetherbys like? I believe they are made by Howa? I'll have to research Stockman, I've not heard of them, interesting that they made a 7.62x54R Could you apply for a UK firearms licence? Don't be put off by the scaremongering, it takes time but we'll worth it.
Thanks for the informative and witty commentary. I did in fact discover you can change the front sight without removing the barrel extension. Just removing the screws allows the release and replacement of the front sight. Tighten up, job done!
@@nickvending9688 yep totally agree, I've had mine for about 2 years its going nowhere, never touched it , so reliable and accurate, thanks for your review, 😁👍
complete idiot this so-called review is what I’d expect a layman to say, everyone including people never actually seen a toy ‘gun’ somehow becomes an expert, evidently in the so-called ‘review’,
What a coincidence. Got my old BSA Scorpion FT gun out yesterday for a bit of 10m paper punching. As I eased the Finale Match Light pellet into the breech it came to a sudden stop. Ten minutes later, after much gentle knocking on the end of my cleaning rod, out of the breech popped three deformed pellets. My son was the last person to use the gun, and he'll get a piece of my mind next time he comes over. Still, no harm done, the rifle shot just as well as it always does once the blockage was removed 🙂
Hello, thank you for your comment and thank you for watching. Glad to hear there was no damage done. Guess he thought he was an amazing shot, with the last 3 pellets through the same hole? What is the Scorpion FT like? I hadn't heard of that model.
@@nickvending9688 Long story. Friend of mine asked me if I'd like to join him at a local FT club. Not having too much cash on hand at the time I had to go the economy route. My old Mk1 Scorpion got a used Ginb skeleton stock, with a UK Neil butt hook and silencer cum barrel weight cum air stripper. It is a super accurate air rifle which had been previously tweaked by UK Neil. To finish the rig I bought a battered but functional Big Nikko scope for not too much money on the BBS and job done for a rookie FT shooter. If you get a good BSA barrel the accuracy is astounding and can keep up with much more expensive kit. Shame they sold out to Gamo.
Sounds like a great bit of kit. I'm all for building using rifles I've already got, at least they are known good rather than risking buying something new. Agreed about BSA barrels and yes their spring guns have certainly suffered since the Gamo ownership.
Hello It's a Gen1, unregulated. The bands are the standard rear sight mount / barrel band that the rifle comes with, these can be purchased from a spares supplier. Pretty sure there is a link in the video description.
Thank you, but I can't take credit for this rifle. A friend built it. However I do now own it, sadly less the sights. Thank you for watching the videos, very much appreciated.
@@nickvending9688 I’ve striped mine down this morning and added a budget bipod and strap . I tested with a budget chronograph yesterday and noticed the ftlbs drop off within 18 shots from 783-745 (each shot dropping a bit ) however taking her to pieces I realised she is infact a gen 2 with the stock regulator . New seal kit coming as something is a miss
