In reality, Computer Chronicles never gave much attention to Linux. Not even during its peak hype around the late '90s and early 2000s, when, at least for internet-facing servers, it was far ahead of Windows overall. It was probably a marketing issue... no one was sponsoring Linux on TV.
I am so happy that I could repair my favorite camera with the help of your video. I was so sad that the screen broke through a fall. Did you have any issues with your camera just suddenly turning off when taking a picture and does not turn back on anymore? if so and you fixed it, what did you do to get it back on?
Sadly, despite getting the sound icon and "passing" the test, I still don't get any sound coming out from the speakers (is not a hardware issue since Linux has sound output on it)
@@daves.projects i have already did but i cant be sure the DT is is ~ + 16mm wither(case) than the SFF. The SFF has a long psu which is blocking the cooling air from the front fan plus the power cable thats why i am intersted by the DT psu which is shorter same power and the power cables are well manageble hope you can help 🤞👆
@@ajingolk7716 I searched on ebay for power supply for the dt 7010 and sff 3020 they look totally different. but the 3020 and 7020 look same. i don't have these computers anymore so i couldn't get the exact measurements. but looks like the shorter one is also wider on one side. might fix sideways. you need to find the measurements. or just buy one and try it.
Wow everybody talking fast and loose or asking questions. With the advent of DDR4 the memory controller went where and can it be " locked ", . . . Well yes, depending on the PC specifier, not the manufacturer, the specifier. Memory controller moved off the mainboard and into the CPU and can be locked by the UEFI. How does that grab ya. So all or most of your preconceived notions are whack ! i speak from experience with a 2017 HP 600 ProDesk wanting to be a 2400"T". The "T" indicating locked for use in CAS 17 timing and narrow MT or bandwidth range. And Mr. Back Door will come looking for violations. Just remember patrons, we are all being protected so long as we are being exploited ! Cheers.
Thx I have the Delll 3020 SFF (I like the small foot print it takes up on my desk). Running the Intel i5-4590, 16 GB DDR3 ram and running a 1GB AMD Radeon HD 6450 and wanted to bump it up to something better to try to run some older games. It runs the old Battlefield 2 games just fine like it is, but I have a copy of GTAV for PC I wanted to try.
The main difference between these different ones are the lower quality ones are genuinely designed for less sophisticated designs or personalising regards because you have all of them in bulk with the same pre-printed design and you need to put things on like names

some were harder than others, but not difficult, maybe put little oil on them. had to slowly screw them in and out to get them to start moving. let it dry.

I have this same issue but the authorized sony repair shop wants to replace the main circuit and replace the lens unit. Does that sound reasonable to you?
i would try to let it sit for awhile without battery and get new battery and don't use the batteries you currently have. im thinking the batteries is what caused this.
I used a box cutter to reshape the starter pawls by hand. I gave them a sharper edge and a deeper angel to prevent them from slipping off. Mine starts just like any other weedeater and isnt doing the other bullcrap anymore. Overall bad weedeater though
@@daves.projects Haha you just answered the question I was going to ask. I have the Troy Bilt with drill start and it was so hard to start that the starter tool ended up breaking lol. It's been sitting for many years now after I bought a Stihl FS100RX. Glad to hear yours is still going strong.
Wrong so wrong. . There are sensor in the throttle body. ((((((((( If you do clean. Spray all and let dry. For real. You can destroy the sensor s engine running.... get hot and spray cleaning products. A fail. Don't don't do

I dropped mine and upon disassembling it with your video (many thanks !) I found that for me too, the "piece that always breaks" or linear motion cam barrel (as the service manual calls it) was broken. The main piece is intact but the three smaller triangle parts are broken off. Does anyone know how to get / make one ? Or could it be glued ? I'm moving on to an ILCE myself but would like to repair the HX60 to pass on to my sister.
Thanks for the video on this problem..my original problem was the lens not closing completely and the error message coming on screne say turn off/on so i pulled it down and relaced the lens but now has the same problem your does with the funny pattern on the screen. I have a second camera for parts so ill swap over the sensor and see what happens.
