Sean Connery’s kill wasnt just the coldest, IMO it’s the most influential kill of all time. Morally grey heroes are basically a cliche they’ve been done so often. Back at that time, when he double tapped him, people had never seen a hero in a story do anything like that
That first scene with Connery is the greatest. Earlier he had sex with the woman they sent to make sure he would be in the bed when the assassin arrived, and Bond saw through the whole thing, did her, and then sent her home early. Then he gets dressed and just sits there with his pistol playing solitaire waiting to ambush the guy. When the guy shows up and empties his pistol, Bong puts on an act, setting his pistol down and lighting a cig, while getting the guy hopes up and getting him to talk for a bit, knowing exactly what's going to happen next, and that he's going to straight up murder this dude in a minute. Connery's Bond will always be the best.
For me, the best fight will always be Pat Barry stalking down Sean Connerys James Bond in some sort of health clinic 'farm' or whatever those places are called. Pat Barry is genuinely terrifying in that fight.
Okay, please don't hate me and send Odd Job to my house. When asked "Who is your favorite Bond,?" I always cringe. I love them all. Of course one is always forced to choose but I won't and here's why. Each of them are a reflection of where the world was at or is at. I love Sean but the first time I actually saw a Bond film in the theatre at the age of 11 was "The Spy Who Loved Me." So that's why I love Roger. Sean IS Bond. Nuff said. George is the Bond I imagine when I read the books. Pierce was just a welcome change from Moore who stayed at the fair too long. Dalton was just fantastic and he made Bond such a deeper character than what one was expecting. Craig is an awesome titanic ferocious force but after Q of S I lost interest as the films became less fun and more about trying to wrap up a plot. Lastly, if you haven't read the Bond books, do so if you're a fan. Anthony Horowitz has written three amazing novels as well. All the best everyone!
When I get to that Goldeneye fight, I'm thinking this is probably not James Bond anymore. When I get to Quantum of Solace, I'm defintivly sure it isn't.
The question "who was the greatest James Bond" always has "after Sean Connery" at the end. And the only answer can be Daniel Craig. Next for me is Timothy Dalton, followed by Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan. Lazenby is meh.
For all the flack Brosnan gets, I think the Elektra King killing scene may be the best acted in the franchise with 007 desperately trying to regain some sort of control over the proceedings.
One of Bond's coldest kills has to be from Live and Let Die, where he leaves Whisper to die trapped inside a metal cannister. Not a good way to go at all.
haha you know what someone needs to do.. well women strong too ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9oOayAHfoE0.html, but when most fight often they pull hair, someone needs to do men movie where they pull hair in fight haha (:
I dont know if its sped up, but Lazenby's fights are the best, better than any other Bond incl Craig imo. His acting has ok (espc for a first timer), he looked good, but his fighting.... oh man they were so explosive.
The fight in 'You Only Live Twice' with Bond using a sofa, wasn't included but that ridiculous 'quantum of solace', fight which made no sense, is included in this compilation... what a load of gharbage!!
