I'm Rob- Hi! Currently our videos focus on Gundam Battle Operation 2, the F2P Gundam team shooter for PS4/PS5, but in the past we've also covered Japan-only games from the Gundam franchise along with Minecraft and a bunch of other stuff. Check out my friends and family's channels in the sidebar!
can confirm that incendiary weapons can kill its just the DoT effect that can't, the actual weapon hits still counts as normal damage this was a good round and Rob did a pretty good job despite how often he was rushed down, he obviously had some issues with the melee patterns seeing as its his first run with it and they are pretty non-standard, a few things i would recommend is to try and drop that habit of using sturm fausts for damage and remember the special boost skill HiMo Kampfer has, there were a lotta times Rob used the sturm fausts on toppled targets which is not ideal, they are more of a stagger weapon than a damage weapon and the splash can interfere with allies if you arent careful, im pretty sure the uncharged rifle would have done more damage and is a lot safer and lets you save the sturm fausts for when you need a instant stagger for a melee opener, as for the boost HiMo Kampfer gets a faster boost when you start it at 100% boost gauge and there were a lotta times where Rob was either using injectors or just stops boosting to turn and starts boosting again and at least one time where Rob started boosting just before his boost was fully refreshed, its not the biggest issue but it can make a difference and at times leads to you using more boost than needed like when Rob stopped boosting at the start of the match to turn down that corridor when you can just do that turn while boosting (i would also recommend not stopping your boost like this with other suits just to avoid doubling up on initial boost costs, a lot of the time the victor in the initial engagement at the start of a match is determined by which side sticks together more and conserves more boost, you cant do either of those if you waste half of it on repeatedly starting to boost or using balancers)
i personally wouldnt call it hard but the difficulty changes greatly depending on what suit you use, i recommend using something loaded with ballistics since its immune to beams when its not stunned, my first attempt with the Nu HWS was just barely over the 3 minute mark while my second attempt with FA Unicorn was much easier and just over 2 minutes, go with a ballistic suit, stay low and aim for the thrusters on its underside as much as possible
@@YiminyCricket I have no idea. I watch pretty much all of the videos and still come away thinking he talks about stuff regularly as if everyone is clued into what he's talking about. Maybe I'm just not paying attention enough. Love Rob for his quirks but this one is just confusing!
that main use of 6/6ing suits is equipping the fully activated composite frames and armors which are ridiculously efficient at 6/6 and pretty useless beforehand
Wish we got this when the movie came out. I’m not coming back but good to see one of my favorite suits got into the game. Wish the devs just would make a GBO3.
I've been having fun with this, but its definitely not a suit that can be an entire team composition. I've had good results with the FA unicorn against this and the HWS doesn't care about this much.
I like the gimmick It's just too vulnerable to long range support fire. I too will continue playing support until it falls out of fashion, then I will start using the ms again once a new raid suit comes out.
i doubt the flight time will ever be nerfed, the recovery on kill might but still unlikely in my opinion. people seem to forget that flying is very situational and that a lot of the time its got more down sides to good, you may get stagger resistance, better boost efficiency and the ability to easily get to hard to reach areas like rooftops but you are also getting a damage debuff, having any heavy or build stagger upgraded to a topple with extra duration added for the time it takes to fall and you are spending boost over time or in Xi's case canceling your natural boost regen, all this is also ignoring the fact that people are idiots and for some reason like to use every single flight skill in the game to fly at the maps max height right in the open where the entire enemy team can just unload into them until they fall or die which has happened constantly with the Byarlants, the Atlas Gundam and is currently happening once again with Xi
Got lucky, pulled it on the half-off step! It's definitely fun, but you can get absolutely bullied by Sazabi FF players; Kshatriya, too! I haven't seen the funnel missiles miss their targets, outside of obstacle collisions. I'm still getting used to using space controls on ground maps lol. Oh, and the size is ABSOLUTELY scaled-down for GBO2.
I think they scaled it down considerably. The Xi is GIGANTIC and the model kit dwarfs the RX-78. Pretty much the reverse of what they did with the Loto.
@@emperorhadrian6011 I'm ASSUMING since I haven't really seen much of the Nightengale in action. If the Nightengale and Xi were at their "canon" sizes I don't think they'd be able to fit into the more cramped parts areas of certain maps like the the tunnels on Arctic Base, warehouses on Military Base, or the underground parts of the Supply Depot. Just a guess. Not being able to access certain parts of the map would lead to abuse I imagine. Still would be pretty neat to see them at their "canon" sizes (the Loto has the opposite problem since they scaled it UP. Its canon size is TINY lol.)
I knew this thing would be busted, but not this busted. 28,000 BASE health!? Im pretty sure the LV4 Asshimar is the only thing close to it in terms of HP. No boost consumption in flight mode and barely any consumption when boosting anyway. Insane mobility for its size, LV 3 MELEE PRIORITY, ground compatibility giving it more buffs, and a whole bucket list of things. Wtf was BB thinking? I'm definitely not playing at 700 no more until I get the Nu FF or Penelope is a Support. Raids players are cooked. 💀
havent tried using a raid myself yet but none of the raids i have been matched with seem to have struggled and playing as FA Unicorn its pretty easy to deal tons of damage or even just swat these things out of the air if you have the right kit, so far from the 5 700 cost matches i've played since it releases the team with the most Xi Gundams has been the one to lose massively. the thing pretty much performs like most 4 stars released after Byarlant Custom, its interesting and unique but its only good if the pilot knows how to use it and can very much be beaten with enough skill so i am personally happy i decided to skip getting both anniversary suits this year
Xi G's GBO2 height is incorrect. It doesn't stand 26 meters, head height, as specified in the lore. In game it's noticeably shorter than the Messer (23 meter head height). It may have been scaled down to compact it for gameplay balancing purposes.
Ill be curious to see what other 5 stars there will be. Gotta love teh fact that if he was a walking suit rather than a hover suit he would be firing missles while Naruto running
@@carlzerris6566 dont think either of those will ever be added, Awakened Unicorns got its shield funnels which dont attach to it and wouldnt really have much in way of weapons, likely just the beam magnum, head vulcans, sabers, tonfa and then the funnels likely with attack and defence options, maybe 2 attacks, one shooting and one ramming the target but that kit doesnt sound very viable to me compared to standard and FA Unicorn or Phenex, a permanent Bio Sensor Zeta and ZZ on the other hand seems too lazy and too much of what we already have, there likely wouldnt be much they could do to make their kit any different from current Zeta and ZZ and since we already have Enhanced and FA ZZ it would be pretty weird to add the standard ZZ but with permanent Bio Sensor and call it better than the two that are literally ZZ with improved parts, i would imagine that going forward 5 stars are gonna be whatever main character suit they decide to add like F91 but i dont know enough about UC Gundam past that point to make any other predictions and we also have no clue how far in the timeline BB are going to go
As much as I do LOVE this game, truth and Fact is, once Gundam Breaker 4 Drops, this community will drop faster then New Gundam breaker's popularity a month after release, and if you know, you know lol haha
your comparison to game and watch was spot on, i couldn't unsee it, strange because the game normally autokicks you if your ping is above a certain level, maybe they figured they need everyone they can get
This game makes me wonder do the people who play it a lot build models? Like why pay possibly hundreds of dollars on a video game version of the Gundam XI that will probably be deleted when the game shuts down in the next 5 years when you could just have a Gundam XI in real life for 70 bucks. To each their own I suppose.
This game is a mech battle simulator. It will probably hold grounds for as long as there are people willing to play and pay for the gacha aspect of the game. It is a major reason why this game got ported to PC while Gundam Evo got canned.
I was super lucky and got the Sliferail Gundam while going for the Xi Gundam. I really like how it plays, though I do wish the javelin was a bit stronger. I love the twin saber downslash, and the sticky.
the linked machine guns are FA Slave Wraiths default main weapon but it can bring a beam rifle instead glad to see the Unicorn types are finally coming to the ticket store, probably gonna start saving to finally get Phenex and Banshee Norn since the special step up banner kinda sucked Edit: two of the three current Thunderbolt Acguys actually use beam sabers, the recon type uses a single saber, normal has single and double and the firepower type uses a heat bayonet built into the weapon cluster
