Man I am dealing with the same problem now. Been to dealership five times about Def system ,replaced egr valve , def filter and mass air flow sensor check engine light back on now.
I have a 2014 RAM 1500. I have installed a new actuator because the old one had the 4x4 switch light flashing constantly without actuating the 4WD. New one made no difference. If I have the motor running and turn the dial switch to 4x4, it will not engage. But if I leave the switch in 4wd position and shut the motor off for a few minutes, then start the motor up again, then the 4x4 will be engaged and will stay engaged. I know, it's a RAM, but what could be the problem here, any ideas?
My locking mechanism is falling off my 2011 Tacoma which is mostly garaged, it was held in place by sheet metal screws. I drilled ten new holes and installed 3/16 pop rivets. Holding solid. Thanks
Thanks for the video. Doin my 2018 tomorrow. They made it 6 year. Was gonn ask about the banks, but saw your answer in comments. I watched Dave’s Auto do one of these for the heat grid reason.
I installed a Monster Ram intake on my 2014 2500. Here's the difference that I've experienced. My engine runs smoother at idle and a little quieter. I tow a 5th wheel trailer that's around 16,000 pounds. The biggest bang I discovered is that towing is better. If you tow heavily then you'll find it tows better than stock. I gained 10mph on a 8 mile climb of 4 to 6% grade that I've driven on for the last 8 years. As long as somebody doesn't pull out in front of you to loose your speed and rpm. Also it's a little less turbo lag at a start.
Cool piece of kit!! Think the gap at the fender flares will give you opportunity to hose out dirt so it doesn’t sit in there and rot them from the inside
You are a genius. Thank you so much. I stay In my camper when I travel for work and i have had this problem intermittently for 2 years and sure enough I pulled it apart yesterday morning and it was sitting sideways in there . Put It back in place and it works perfect . Thanks alot man.
My roller came loose from top of door. Was about to cut the caulk and take out valance piece on 1 side to get to it and then I seen your video. Door fixed no wood pieces removed. Thanks very much.
I used this video as a guide. Replacement PN's for Santa Rosa toilet: Handle 87115-CP (Left placement), flush valve 87998, and fill valve 1138930. I suggest using silicone plumber grease on the flush valve gasket covering inside and top and bottom as well as the valve body where the ring resides. This will help a lot to get it to turn - be sure to remove the flapper valve when installing into the toilet. Also, make sure the are around that triangle is clean so that there is nothing to cause resistance. GOOD LUCK.
I filled up def tank on 4-5 -2014 on my 2013 ram at 138257 miles. Now sitting at 141384 miles and still at 1/4 tank indicated. On our last camping trip we averaged 16 mpg towing our trailer running 70 mpg average. Still a lot better than my son’s Taco that can only muster 15 mpg with no payload to speak of. Ram fan til the end.
Exactly. I think the shop that did the work is old school and thinks roller cams need to break in like old flat tappet stuff. I was just glad I didn't need to hear into it. Thanks!
The same EG2500 provided us with electricity for 3 weeks, during the 1998 great ice storm. Just a week ago, it prevented a flood in our basement after the electricity went out during a record rainfall. It might not be the newest and doesn't have all the bells and whistles but it's a real workhorse.
I was yelling “driver driver” before your buddy did. I could see what was about to happen!! She’s a beast !! Glad you’ve seen what she’s capable of --& that ain’t nothing !! She’s got a lot more in her.
Very similar situations…had a 5500/8500 generator for years. Upgraded to a 12k / 15k about 2 years ago. The new generator runs our 6 ton and our 2 ton heat pumps simultaneously. Installed soft starts on both. Can now run everything in the house. Can’t run the electric dryer and the pool pumps / hot tub all at the same time but often see it pulling 52 amps at 240v. I backfeed the panel and use my main breaker to isolate from the grid. Thx for the video
