It's kinda funny how fully grown adult Pilaf here looks barely different from kid Pilaf in Super :^p (I'm sure Toriyama's style evolving also has to do with it, but yeah)

You should watch Fist Of The North Star at some day. Its a very old anime but ones like DBZ and OPM took inspirations from it. Its the father of anime.

If you're talking about the sexual content, then I wouldn't call it a product of it's time since manga and anime with that kinda stuff get made all the time (in fact, a similar scene to the Bulma and Goku one this episode happens in chapter 3 of the Four Knights of the Apocalypse). There's literally a genre for that called ecchi, with material much more explicit and openly perverted than Dragon Ball's. They only thing they couldn't get away with today is drawing genitalia (female nipples are okay, though, depending on the series).

There's a scene in Db Super when Goku is crossing the street carrying a large fish. He's not paying attention because he's too busy trying to sense Hit's presence. Bulma comes out of nowhere and hits Goku with her car again. A callback to this episode.
I love OG Dragon ball. It doesn’t get enough credit nowadays. Most people just skip straight to DBZ or Super and don’t get to experience Goku’s journey from the very beginning. It really is a joy to watch him grow up and become one of the greatest and iconic characters in anime.
Yes bulma was peeing becouse the dinosaur did interrupt her, also Toriyama done some exclusive artwork about goku and bulma riding dinosaurs and even if dino caps have never been showed in any of the dragon ball series here bulma did confirm dino caps exist so Toriyama's artwork are totally canon
Finally! Getting to peak Dragon Ball. It's simply got that magic spark that sets it apart even from the rest of the franchise. It's all great, certainly, but this is what everything else tries to recapture. Like you said young Gohan in DBZ has a bit of young Goku before they form his individual identity. Then they bring in Goten. So much is built on this foundation because it's so strong. So much of anime, in general, wouldn't be here without this.
