The Hamilton is by far the better watch, but Hamilton screwed itself by pricing it up and up and into the stratosphere. It would be an easy buy for the Hamilton if this was $50 vs $200, but at nearly $600 USD (and even more in CAD), it isn't really worth its price anymore.
Hi, it seems they are sold out of the titanium SN0111. The closest thing they currently have is the stainless steel version. If you search AliExpress for San Martin SN0111, you can find the current versions available. I hope that helps.
got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on amzwatch 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.
If you’re into the look, yeah why buy a hamilton when you can buy a chinees knockoff for 1/10 the price. I would love to see an actual legit field test
50 meters isn't that bad in general, what worries me is how many images you find around the internet of this watch fogged up inside, making me question its water resistance.
💥Hello, a very good product. However, at a lower price you can buy the same quality watch, with the same mechanism, with the ability to quickly change the bracelet to straps, in an original and better-designed envelope. This watch, is the Christopher Ward-C60 Trident Pro 300, and its price is €1,165.00. 💥
It's not bad for a typical busy gmt with all those cities listed on the bezel - but it seems weighty + looking at that dial feels like looking down the well...
I had the OR2 date and OR2 No Date, loved them both but i have to sell the date since i hardly use it. I do wish that he can make a datejust homage or a chronograph since I'm starting to get interested in dress watches and he's been having the same watches for 4-6 years already. What will also be great if he can also create a gmt sub since that's also popular.
I have a titanium date one i really like. The power reserve is amazing because the rotor winds both ways. I put a deployment silicone band on it, wears comfortably. I also have a go.d jazzmaster wigh power reserve dial on a leatner deployment band. Heavy, solid, still wears well. Beautiful dress watch.
First time seeing your channel. Love the camera work on the SM, beautiful visuals that I haven't seen from other reviewer's, great job. I love the SN0129 with the aventurine dial. Its my next purchase. Subscribed
Timex expedition north has a titanium hand wound model with 200m of water resistance in titanium case. It is $420 ish, so it is not extremely cheap, but way better value for money.
That sounds comparable to the Boderry Voyager: titanium and sapphire, Seiko NH36 automatic movement, only 100M water resistance but costs about $100 on Amazon (US).
The HKFM is well overpriced. I bought a vintage 1969 Hamilton GG-W-113, for less than half of the price of that Khaki. Why would you buy a 'homage' when the real thing is cheaper? 'A fool and his money...'
Hi. I can't say for sure. I do have a Skmei and they look to be very similar in dimensions, but the Skmei is about 0.5mm thicker, with a case back that bulges out a bit more than the Casio. So I'm not sure how compatible they really are.
One of the best affordable Casios out there! I have an A168 with a SKXMOD Kit (yes I spent $150 on a kit for a $25 watch), and I’m thinking of doing the same with this one. I didn’t even know about the A500. So always nice to learn something new. Thanks! Royal with cheese!
I have had the maxi dial version about 5 years ago and it was the most disappointing purchase ever. It felt cheap as hell. Chinese have done it 10x better. I have a Steeldive sub homage for like $50 and the quality is much better than this crap. Go steinhart if you want a cheap Swiss made.
@@worthwhilewatches Yes, just can't see how they can improve this movement when face up , mine gains ten seconds in ten hours when side up, it loses the same. When worn, it is near enough perfect. I just can't see how this can be regulated with this broad variance. My Planet Ocean and even my Hydroconquest are both zero tolerance in any position. I just feel, with Seiko's pricing, we deserve a proportionate value for money with their quality in this regard. Longines on the second hand market kills Seiko in this mid tier market, especially as a Hydroconquest, an entry level luxury watch, for example can be picked up at the same price as one of these Seiko's. It is impossible to regulate this Seiko movement to maintain the higher level of accuracy, plain and simple. To achieve this from Seiko, they need to look at their SLA movements.
Do you mean a watch where the hour hand moves around the dial once per day? If so, maybe the Glycine Airman? I don't know of many 24 hour field watches. Maybe check out Svalbard watches?
Zero water resistants ? Nice looking watch, but there’s no way it would last 5 minutes in my daily life. I’m still waiting for you to say you’re joking.
Yes, it should be treated like a vintage watch with unknown water resistance. Apparently, they did water testing on the cases, and couldn't get consistent results even with modern gaskets installed, etc. Desk diving only! Thanks for watching!
I love it, some of us are non swimmers, unfortunately, but that makes this watch perfect for me, thanks for introducing me to Cincinnati watch company 👍
With the price hikes in recent years, id agree the value proposition of the khaki field isnt as great as before. However, what Hamilton does have which greatly increases cost is R&D, and a proper QA/QC department. The no name clone company has neither of these large cost centers in their business.
