This was insane!!! I was there and honestly….best show I ever attended and it was free for me because all the tickets sold out once I got to the Fullerton programe
happy 10 year anniversary to this show. this video is the epitome of title fight. the crowd's energy? the vhs or some other camcorder footage? how stoked everyone looks to be playing their songs? i wish i was at this show, even though i was 6 when it happened. hell, i just wish i could see them live at least once. at least they're on hiatus?
I go down the random youtube rabbit hole and end up here watching the final Amenity show, a band I saw many times 30+ years ago and see this comment. Totally shook. What sad news, he was a good dude.
in 1993 someone recorded me amenity, downcast and statement on a tape, a staining impression for a teenager, today i heard about the passing of mike. still got the vinyl of the mentioned band. thank you for everything.
I was there and was the one interviewed by the LA Times and got served 4 days in that shit hole lockup. I can say I paid the price for saving a poor bro in a basketball court from being beaten beyond it should have been by diverting the LAPD to me instead, unfortunately I underestimated or was so tired of "running " that got me cought...the 1st time that night.... so much more happened, but I was the one on the front page of the LA times saying it was "horrific, it was a nightmare " honestly I had Discharge lyrics in my head and as dumb as I sounded, it was all that came to mind lol. I remember wattie telling us to sit down during the beginning of the show, then the police dogs came in without leashes and starting fucking us up. So,so,so much more to the story, including the telephone threats when I got released. Which can still be verified. All in all the best thing I remember is singing, "Cockney Rejects, and we're running thru the back streets Oi Oi Oi and we're never giving in, cuz we all know we're gonna fuckin win!" ...then it all got real... anyone feels like they were there, especially the guy with the crutch that I helped drag away from the ballroom, I would love to talk to. I am 1 of 3 people left alive...unless John is still around. That I would love to share that crazy nite. Yeah you bastards I'm still here. Long live punk and our misfits we had adopted as our brothers and sisters...cuz we needed each other. ❤
This show was my first time ever seeing Title Fight. They blew my mind. Right before they went on, Joyce Manor played a surprise mini set before them. Such a sick show overall.
This is probably the most beautiful live recording I've seen of an emo gig, maybe the best live recording I've seen. Words can't describe how beautiful it looks and sounds
