@@THEECaptainAmazing you could definitely do it that way. I think the only thing I would have changed is the way I did the lines. I would have just cut strips and laid them down individually instead of trying to place the whole grid together
I was wondering about this too. My idea was to make a screen with a pattern and screen this pattern on a black t shirt with acrylic paint. then sublimate on the pattern. If you try this i would love to know how it worked.
Looks so good! I make tons of mistakes and it takes me forever. But that feeling of completion and being exactly what I wanted and created myself is such a great feeling!❤
Omg! Thank you for sharing! Also, I’m in the same boat you were in. I had a ton of infusible ink sheet’s before getting my sublimation printer. Once I started printing, I got lazy and stopped using my infusible ink sheets. Now I’m finding all kinds of ways to use it up 😊
If she is wanting the sublimation look with out a printer your options are limited to Cricut infusible ink or sublimation markers. I did see that they have added a new sublimation paint as well. If she doesn’t like any of those she could look into ordering the prints from someone.
@@kermieincolor7612 well that specific custom order is quite nice. Gotta say, it surprised me when I was scrolling thru diamond painting Shorts and then found out you did that too. Pretty cool if I do say so myself
I absolutely love to diamond paint 🤩. The process is just so calming and satisfying and the result is just.. WOW I have so many diamond paintings already finished and more to come
It is definitely calming. I have to be in the right mind set though. I’m currently working on an 80X100 custom. I’m super excited to see how it turns out

Kermie, I was thinking about the same idea except using a regular white cotton tee with either white fabric spray paint or thinned white fabric paint. Heat set, then make a second go with your dye sublimation design. It might be a way to sneak sublimation art onto cotton anyway since by default cotton doesn’t work in the first place. I found that those pricey so-called sublimation sprays are largely a waste of money, but your idea may actually be better! 👍
Do you think that would have worked a lot better if you had heat set the white first? Seems both processes were fighting each other, I'm going to try it with paint... don't really trust the spray to get into the fibres:)
Thanks, I was a bit surprised you used painters tape. It’s hard to find the glitter notebooks, must be lots of us are doing the same things for kids back to school. Going to try it on plain notebooks too.
These sorts of videos can be easy to skip through, but I found myself watching the whole thing! You have a good pace and solid information the whole time. Plus I love your workspace and saw neat ideas in the background, like the paper towel roll holder for transfer tape! Enjoyed the video, love the kitties 🐾🐈

What I’ve done is stuck a Bobby pin in the end of a drill, then put the end of the paper in the end of the Bobby pin. Then turned in the drill! It’s super fast & efficient. Btw, i recently just found you on tik tok and now I’m here, I’ve learned a lot from your videos.. so thank you 😁
