Swift Slash feels like what the innate skill on the Falx (Hornsent's paired curved swords) should've been. Though that might just be me being salty for my dex build that neither the Falx or the Dancing Blade of Ranah can be buffed despite having no innate elements, purely because they're Somber weapons. Gonna have to make sure to get this on my second run through the DLC (I missed their duel signs on my first run, and entering Messmer's boss room locked me out of choosing a side)
Honestly, I'd gladly watch more than deathblight content. Personally, I keep tuning in because these are your only short-form, "alternative" pvp content. I'm sure others may disagree, but I'm not really interested in your longer pvp comps because a lot of that boils down to watching people dodge each other endlessly with katanas. The deathblight stuff is dramatic and distinctive, so if you're feeling burnt out on Death maybe some similar "gimmick" invades might keep watchers around. Just my 2 cents, as a random commenter on youtube. (Tarnished ahead, therefore, try madness)
Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any new deathblight tools in the DLC. People from the 3 hour event were saying the Death Knight weapons dealt blight, but as far as I'm aware they're just lightning in the final game T_T. I don't think there are even any new enemies that deal it, it's like they're embarrassed by it or something. There's even a boss with an instakill status, but they went through the trouble of designing a whole new status instead of just giving it blight! Still an 11/10 DLC, just one of my two disappointments, though hopefully there are more blight tools that just haven't been reported yet.
Glad you're still uploading these even if Shadow of the Erdtree is out! Watching these has been part of the daily routine for a few months now. There's something beautiful about watching anxious and/or arrogant people getting Death Blighted :')
